Local missing woman book thoughts

Just finished. I looked up what other people thought after the fact and saw a lot of hate actually. Tbh, I think it’s a bit much, but I also see where people are coming from.

I think it has a lot to do with the expectations you cone with. For me, here’s my thoughts: don’t go in expecting incredible writing or some huge elaborate, intricate plot. It’s solely for a thriller. Like imagine you’re watching one of those late night documentaries. That’s the kind of story you should expect. I will say though, the ending feels a bit rushed, but not enough to ruin the story by any means.

Now, one thing you should know. The story is told out of order. It honestly didn’t have to be, but I think she did that because she wanted to make it more suspenseful that it would have otherwise been. She probably just felt like doing that instead of creating more suspense through the plot.

On top of that, the POV switches between different characters (like 4 of them iirc). They’re all in 1st person, except one of them is in 2nd. I personally have a huge preference for 3rd person in books, but 1st person is bearable to me. 2nd person actually pisses me off. I really struggled to read those sections.

Overall, I’d say listen to this as an audiobook while you’re preoccupied or read it for a simple thriller, but don’t go in with massive expectations. Like I said, think of it like you’re watching one of those late night documentaries, not like you’re picking up literature.

Is there a real reason Crunchyroll won't give us 2FA?

It seems like it would cost them negligible resources to implement 2 factor, plus allow them to cut down on having to deal with data breaches and support requests. Why on earth don't they do it? It makes zero sense to me, especially for such a successful streaming service and during times where 2FA should be the bare minimum.

Similar To: Sing Yesterday For Me (Normal young adult life, trying to make it, realistic)

I'm looking for something where it follows someone who's an adult, maybe college age or above, just living a normal life. Sing Yesterday For Me is the best example of this that I have. I haven't been able to find anything else like it. No extra romanticization, realistic, good ambiance.

Who do you think has the most sensual voice in all of anime?

In my option, it’s got the be the English dubs for Frieren and Pieck Finger. The voice actresses themselves too, but especially with these two characters. Tied because they’re both so good. I could listen to them talk about anything all day.

Aoi Inuyama surprised me

It's a very wholesome anime and I love it. I definitely wasn't expecting to see something like this, in such a wholesome show lol. When I was recently watching for the first time, I was quite taken aback by Aoi, I wasn't expecting her to have such such massive assets, good lord lol
