I recently downloaded crunchyroll application on my windows pc from microsoft store. Initially it opened in the app. But when I close it and reopen by clicking on the icon it always opens in browser ( microsoft edge ) not in app. Is this the correct behavior or what? This is annoying af!.

I came to this Reddit to learn more about Crunchyroll before subscribing. But many posts I see aren't that great : big augmentation of the cost, player downgraded, bugs with subtile and a hack it seems.

I have Netflix and saw Jujutsu Kaisen S01 on it. I'm not a very big anime eater but like one season every 2 months (want to continue Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer and Chainsaw Man). would you recommend me to subscribe to Crunchyroll or not ?

Tried to find how to have lower prince with VPN but seems impossible now sadly.

I normally use Safari, but whenever I try to watch anime on Crunchyroll using Chrome, every episode loads with a black screen. The video player loads normally, but the video never starts — it just stays completely black with no playback.

I’ve already tried clearing cache, cookies, and browsing data, but the issue still happens on every episode.

Thoughts anyone?

What is the usual/expected delay in simulcast on crunchyroll from japan airing time.

Can someone explain why Frieren isn't in the voting pool?

When I got to the "Best Background Art" and "Love through a Prism" wasn't listed I was shocked but I understand that because it JUST came out it may not be eligible for this year but, my god the detail in the background is just insane.

For "best continuing series" or "best director" Golden Kamuy isn't listed. Golden Kamuy went from manga, to anime, to movie screen, to tv series and they're releasing more anime late this year.

The voting pool seems like a really bad popularity contest. I feel bad for all of the artists involved that aren't even being considered.

However I can’t watch the new episode ik it drops today but they still haven’t confirmed or announced a time from what I can see. This is such a cock tease 😭😭 I got my hopes up to have them crashed to the ground. 🤬🤬 I miss Rimuru, Benimaru, Diablo and Ronga 😭😭 I also miss princess Shuna and Millim.

Would love to download some stuff to watch if the WiFi goes down, but I can't find any way on PS5 to do this. Where would it even save it? If I have to go into the CR app to watch it, the app won't work when the WiFi goes down because nothing works on a PS5 without internet
