My partner and I have vastly different music tastes.
He went to a show last night of someone I would never care to go to, and I stayed home with the kids. When he got home it was late, he mentioned it was a good show and we went to bed. Today after work I decided to ask him about the show. He just again repeated it was a good show so when I asked what was good about it he snapped at me and said “it was just a good show why do I need to explain myself to you.”
I was shocked. Like, I asked because it’s music he likes, a show he thought was good and as his partner I wanted to hear about something he had fun doing.
Am I over reacting in being offended by his reaction to my question or should I just chalk it up to him not wanting to talk?
He’s usually super talkative and kind to me but this reaction made me feel kind of shitty. I was just trying to show him I cared about something he liked.

I'm newer to Discogs. I've placed three total orders. Two have been decent. The last one I got sent the wrong vinyl. I sent a message to who I purchased it from and am waiting to hear back but what usually happens in situations like this?

I (37f) have two children (9 years and 7 month). My fiancé has given me a day to myself, per my request, for Mother’s Day. I also got gifts from him from our children so all in all I have zero complaints. Although our 7 month old is a JOY I still desperately wanted a break to be me. Go to a record store, target, thrifting WHATEVER I wanted.

My mother (67) asked me last week if I would go to her house for Mother’s Day. I declined. I told her although she IS my mother, I have two small kids so I deserve to do what I want for Mother’s Day. My brother (38) is gay and has no children so he is going to her house.

I texted her Happy Mother’s Day and sent her a card with a gift card for her gift. She once ago. Asked me to please come to her house for dinner.

Will I bean asshole if I don’t see my mother on Mother’s Day? Am I just a dick assuming Mother’s Day should be my day when i still have my mother alive?

I need help! I work for my local police department and we are hosting a K9 fundraiser to help raise funds for our K9 program. During this event we are going to have baskets to bid on. I volunteered to put together a Taylor Swift basket.

I have already decided to donate one of my signed Life of a Showgirl CDs I got from her website and the Folklore single CD, also from her site. The basket itself is going to be one of the popcorn buckets form the Eras Tour movie. Other than a friendship bracelet kit what else should I include? I'm going to be purchasing everything myself as a donation so I don't want to go too crazy but I also want it to be something that people will want to win.

What would YOU want to win? I thought about donating one of my cardigans from her site but I don't want to exclude people because of the size. I believe all my cardigans are either a medium or large so that'd limit who might possibly go for the basket. I just really want it to be worthwhile for people.

I usually try and stay away from Target Exclusives. I’d rather purchase vinyl from the artist’s website, indie stores or discogs but I have to say, their pressing of Kacey Muscraves new album REALLY has me tempted..

Has anyone experienced Discogs submitting payment automatically?

I threw a vinyl in my cart that I was thinking of buying. Went to my cart, selected my payment method and then it dawned on me I might already have the album. So I "abandoned" my cart and was just going to revisit later after I checked to see if I had it. About an hour later I check my email and to my surprise I have a confirmation email for an order with Discogs.

I never hit submit or anything when I was in my cart. It was only $40 bucks or so, so not the end of the world, I was just more shocked than anything that an order was placed when I definitely didn't complete the checkout process by submitting.

I purchased a still sealed signed Benson Boone Pulse CD.

It was a great deal so I snatched it up. But now I'm debating if I should open it or not. On one hand I most definitely want to see the signature. On the other hand I wonder if keeping it "mint" is the right thing to do especially if his career keeps going the trajectory it's going.

Is it shitty of me to have it and not open it?

I'm looking to purchase my first "entry level" turntable. I can't afford to simply go straight to what I'd like (RT85N). I'm debating between the RT81+, RT82, or the LP70x.

I like that the preamp is built in for the RT81+ and the AT-LP70x. I'm a casual listener so I think that would be sufficient. The reviews for the RT82 are better, but then I'd need to purchase a separate preamp. But it also seems silly to not go with the RT82 since it's a step up than the RT81+ for the same price (Minus purchasing a preamp).

The AT-LP70x is probably last on my list for the sole fact that I love the natural walnut that is available with the Flaunce. Just looking for some guidance from more seasoned people than I.

Again, I can't really afford $500+ so please don't recommend going with something that is simply better than what I have listed. I understand there are better options that will cost more but also have better sound quality and believe me, I would if I could.
