First time getting a rica wax on my back ended up with a severe rash

Hey everyone, I really need some help here.

I got a hot wax / rica wax done on my back for the first time about a week ago. Almost immediately after the session, I noticed some redness and irritation, but I figured it was just normal post-wax sensitivity and didn’t think much of it.

Two days later, things got significantly worse. And now, a full week in, my entire back is covered in pustules/boils and I’m genuinely freaking out.

My main concerns right now:

1.	How do I stop the breakout from spreading further?

2.	Will these leave marks/scars? This is my biggest fear at this point.

3.	Has anyone else experienced this after a rica wax, especially on the back?

I’m not sure if this is folliculitis, an allergic reaction to the wax, or something else entirely. The salon was clean as far as I could tell, but I honestly don’t know what went wrong.

Any advice skincare products, home remedies, whether I need to see a dermatologist ASAP would be really appreciated. I’m honestly a little scared at this point and just want to know I’m not alone in this.

Planning a Southeast Asia trip.. need SIM/eSIM suggestions 👀

I’m planning a 1–2 month Southeast Asia trip covering Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos.

Trying to figure out what SIM/eSIM makes the most sense for a trip like this. I’ll need reliable network + good internet throughout since I’ll be constantly moving around.

If it’s a one-month trip, what SIM or package would you recommend that works smoothly across these countries without having to switch constantly?

What Do Men Actually Want a Woman to Wear on a First Date?

Okay I need a man’s perspective what do you actually expect a woman to wear on a first date? Does she need to show up in a dress or is a jeans and top totally fine? I’ve also heard some men prefer women with their hair tied up. Would love to know if that’s true. And what about a skirt not too long, not too short? There’s so much pressure on women to nail this first impression while men can throw on almost anything. So what actually works for you?

Hey everyone! I’m a 28-year-old woman from India planning my first solo international trip to Southeast Asia. I’m looking at June/July, and I know it’s rainy season in many parts of the region, but this is the only time that works for me. That said, if you have suggestions for better months or alternative destinations, I’m totally open to it.

Here’s my current plan:

Malaysia, 1 week

Vietnam, 2 weeks (I have a friend there who’ll help guide me around)

Cambodia, 1 week

Thailand, 2 weeks

A few things I’d love input on:

• Laos keeps coming up, but I’ve heard mixed things about safety for solo female travellers. Is it actually okay to visit?

• Are there any other countries worth adding between these stops that fit naturally into this route?

• What are the absolute must-dos or must-sees in each country that I shouldn’t miss?

• Any general safety tips for solo female travel in this region?

• Singapore. I skipped it because of the cost, but is there a budget-friendly way to do it? Would love to squeeze it in if possible.

This itinerary is based on my budget, so I’m trying to be realistic, but any advice, suggestions, or personal experiences are very welcome. Thanks in advance!

Is it just me, or is this loop never ending?

Smart, well-travelled, financially independent, comes from a good family, not bad with dogs and somehow still stuck in the same cycle.

You match with someone who's at your level or higher. You have the conversation. He says he's looking for something serious. You meet. The vibe is genuinely good. And then? "We should catch up again sometime." Which apparently means never.

The thing is, I get it. Men at this level have options. So do I. But that's the trap, isn't it? We're both auditioning while pretending we're not, and nobody's willing to actually choose.

My friends say I'm fishing in the same pond and expecting a different catch. Maybe. But the alternative settling for someone who can't match the life I've built isn't something I'm willing to do either.

So I'm curious: does this loop actually end? Or do we just get better at surviving it? And I hate this. These dating apps are literally not designed to be deleted. I just want to fall in love and start living together :( is it too much to ask for?
