Balancing sens

I recently started playing and my sensitivity is .125 1600 dpi
My aim has gotten drastically better and I too fragged a couple times, obviously it wasn’t ranked and my teamates weren’t trying as hard as me. My dilemma is that at .125 my aim feels pretty good, but doing a 180/360 feels kinda slow and flicks are kinda slow, I use a artisan mousepad and have a decent amount of space but not a ton if I do a 180 it’s practically a full side swipe from end to end. Some people have told me in this game u don’t need to do 360’s and others have said you absolutely need to. Any advice ?

Looking for squad as a newbie.

I made a post recently as I just got the game. I played fortnite comp and accumulated some earnings and have experience in competitive scenes. I switched to val to have a competitive ranked game that I can take a little less serious and play less/takes less grinding. I won’t be that good immediately obviously so if anyone is willing to play with me and deal with that lmk, or of course fellow new players. NA EAST.

Upcoming competitive games?

What’re some upcoming games that you believe will be a successful comp game, like fun ranked grind and esports scene similar to Valorant, Fortnite, CS, etc?

I’m thinking about upgrading my pc I bought from micro center around 2 years ago, my specs : AMD Ryzen 7 7700 3.8GHz Processor; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB GDDR6; 32GB DDR5-
6000 RAM; 1TB Solid State Drive

What would you recommend I upgrade? Also does microcenter do upgrades for you? i’ve never done it before, if they charge too much I might try.
My budget is around $400-$800

Edit: Also would a trade in be smart? trade my pc in to get a nicer one on a cheaper deal? Does Microcenter do that?

  1. I think gunplay, movement is incredible, especially for a beta.

  2. I love being able to drag downed teammates like in squad, as medic you no longer have to bandage a teammate after reviving which is kinda neat.

  3. The lighting needs some work it’s too orange and too bright, it needs a slightly more darker less tinted look imo.

  4. The tunnels are awesome. However it’s like a fast travel system and I think it’s cool, but i’d think it would be better if you had to enter the tunnel run to a certain point then fast travel the rest of the way so it’s not so fast and immediate. Also I think the American side should have a tunnel rat class that you can crawl in and blow up the system disconnecting certain parts.

  5. Id love to see traps, I think that’s something that should really be added.

  6. Optimization was okay, for beta it was fine. Hopefully it improves a good amount before release and I expect it will.

  7. Helicopters don’t seem useful enough.

  8. The sound definitely needs a lot of tweaking, you hear an op or tunnel then get close and the sound goes away until you’re in it. Sometimes gunshots are accurate other times someone 5 meters away sounds 50 meters away.

  9. It feels decently faster than HLL 1 in a way I didn’t love, I think it’s great for a beta and amazing overall. But i’d like it to slow down a bit I felt it to be too arcady at times but it was overall pretty good.

With the right tweaks I definitely think it’ll be their best game yet. I expect to like it more than HLL 1 as long as they fix the small issues and adjust some things. Also boats are cool, but felt somewhat useless as well. 8.1/10 with potential to be well over 9/10.
