Not looking for patronizing advice here.

I'm wondering, has anyone here gotten an apartment with an active warrant? If so, how? Do warrants typically show up in background checks if you go to another state? Which states have more lenient attitudes about these sorts of things?

I'm in NYC bouncing from club to club... I'm only on Day 3! I think I actually had one good set where I drew some hearty laughs (I was drunk and riffing lol) Other than that, just a chuckle here or there. It feels like weekday open mics are mostly other comedians just there to do their own material

I wanna drink less, because it's affecting my timing, although maybe one beer to calm the nerves??

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life"

I had nowhere to sleep so I passed out on a subway with a pillow in NYC. Well, an hour after falling asleep, a social worker approached me and offered me a bed in a hotel for 10 days. Now I'm working with them on employment and food stamps.

Why should I worry? Just exist and be kind in a public space, and the world will have your back. I'm not religious, but I do believe this

Every day is a new adventure. I can go wherever I want.

Everyone wants to tell me to get a job, find a career, etc.... I already worked my ass off and it wasn't worth it.

Why would I grind 50 years of my life at jobs that bring me no fulfillment just to have all of my money go to bills anyways? Travelling around and taking things as they come is just simply more fun.

No obligations, very few bills, nothing tethering me down. Just adventure

I realized that:

  1. 97% of my paycheck goes to rent/utilities/bills

  2. Inflation outpaces my raises

  3. All my hardest work is in vein

I have dropped out of the workforce and become voluntarily homeless. Car Dwellin and tent pitchin ain't as bad as they say. I do what I want with my time now. Waiting for more to follow this path, because the wageslave grind bears no fruit 🤷
