Since 2023, I started experiencing a strange watery vaginal discharge with no odor after having unprotected sex with a partner I was seeing. Since then, I’ve gone to the hospital multiple times and tested for all possible STIs/ STDs, and all the results have consistently come back negative even for Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma.

What makes it more confusing is that my partner tested positive for Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma at Aga Khan Hospital, but when he repeated the same STI panel the next day at Nairobi Hospital, the results came back negative. Because of that, I suspected I might still have it despite my own negative tests, so I took doxycycline for two weeks.

However, things seemed to get worse after that. My discharge has changed at different times it sometimes has an onion-like smell, other times an ammonia or slightly yeasty, metallic smell. I’ve also noticed that I’m much drier down there compared to before.

I really need help figuring this out because all my tests keep coming back negative, but my symptoms are still ongoing and I don’t know where else to go or what else to check.
