Rescue said best guess was lab/basset hound which makes sense. We suspected some border collie/aussie because of her fur on her back/tail.
We did not expect the German shepherd & pit/am staff though.
She’s just about 25 lbs. 13” tall at the shoulder but has the bark of a much larger dog (probably the shepherd

We foster failed. She’s short, sweet and a bit of a diva with a very deep bark. Like so deep that people look twice because she’s only a foot off the floor.
She’s 25 lbs at 5 months.
Vet says most likely basset hound mixed with something. She’s got basset legs with the malformations.

I swore we wouldn’t foster fail until our other puppy turned 18 months. Well, he turned 1 on Thursday and here we are.
The rescue let us know she had an application and we knew we couldn’t let her go.
She is the most ridiculous little diva I’ve ever met and we (including the resident dog who hates everyone) are smitten.
This is Willow. She’s a 5 month old basset hound and something mix. She demanding and bossy and so so sweet.

Chesney our redbone mix turned one today. I can’t believe how much he’s grown. He’s an amazing pup, goofy and sweet and LOUD.
His birthday present is a new baby sister (dog, not human, those days are long passed) because we foster failed.
