ChatGPT Can't Play Scrabble.

ChatGPT Can't Play Scrabble.

I play word games, most recently Crossplay - and I wanted to see if ChatGPT had the capability of giving me the best answer available based on the board given. The answer it gave me was not only wrong, it was completely unusable - so I did a small amount of research and made a video on it.

[Dev] TileIQ - Word Game Solver/Analyzer

Hi all, I built an app that analyzes and gives you the best possible move for any board state for your Scrabble type word games. Currently works for Scrabble Go, Words With Friends and Crossplay with plans to expand to more modes and games.

Please check it out if this is something you might be into!

I am looking into Apple Ads (not committed to anything) and saw when making a campaign they suggest a per tap price. Mine was $1.65.

I was thinking of going lower than that as I am a solo developer and want to get more bang for the little amount I would be investing currently.

My app is fairly niche so I am wondering where Apple pulls this data from - and more importantly, if I go significantly lower like .50, will I just never get impressions?

I am past the point of building my app and I am ready to promote it. I have been posting and making TikToks, but beyond that I am not sure what to do. I am not sure if I want to start doing paid ads yet, but I feel like my app is somewhat niche.

What has gotten you the most traction for your apps?

Hi, I developed an app called TileIQ in which you can input your Scrabble/Crossplay/Words With Friends board and rack and receive an analysis back with the top 3 words scored by raw score/blockability/tile leave.

I would love some ratings on my app and honest feedback.

I would love to return the favor by doing the same for your application as well.

Here is the link to my app on the App Store:

Suprisingly, AI models still have a very difficult time with giving a correct answer if you take a picture of your Scrabble/WWF/Crossplay boards and ask for a suggestion of best words. You can try for yourself, it will give you a completely wrong answer - spatial awareness is just not there for AI models.

So I built an app that you can quickly input your board and it will feed it to an API in a readable JSON format that it can understand, and it will return to you the top 3 moves, ranked. (Ranked by raw score, leave quality and lane blocking)

I would appreciate some feedback/reviews/suggestions as this is my first app I’ve released. Thanks for checking it out! Here is a link to the app:

I am not understanding how my “strategy” was better, but luck was the same, yet I still lost by a significant amount.
