Drop in FRT with Banshee

I just bought an upper from C3Junkie and am pairing it with an AR15 standard lower. I have an Atrius Selector and am waiting on the Rave 140 trigger to show up. C3 wasn’t sure if it would work due to how thin the trip bar is. Has anyone used this combo? If not, is there another FRT that you can drop in this setup without having to modify anything else?

2 shotguns

I currently don’t own any shotguns after selling my old pump, and I’d like to end up with two eventually: one for home defense and one for hunting/clays.

I’m trying to stay as budget-friendly as possible without buying junk, and right now I keep coming back to the Beretta A300 line or the Stoeger M3000.

Would you guys buy two versions of the same shotgun with different barrel lengths/configurations, or would you go with two completely different guns?

I’m assuming the A300 Ultima Patrol is too short to really be ideal for hunting or clays.

Edit: forgot to mention I’m looking for semi-auto.

Rave 140 vs CMC 2.5 single stage

I’m thinking about trading my cmc 2.5 for the rave 140 primarily because it’s compatible with the Atrius. The problem being I’m not entirely sure if the Atrius will work in my build or not. This wouldn’t bother me as long as the 140 is still a decent trigger comparable to the CMC. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

AR9 Banshee with Hux Flow 9K Ti

I’ve purchased an upper from c3junkie and my plan was to mount my 9kti with plan b so I could easily add it to a future 300 blackout build. Is there any reason not to do this? Also, since I don’t have a 300 now, any reason not to just direct thread?

Not sure if it matters but it’ll be tucked in a SR rail.

Sprinco Trigger Spring

I ordered the TSK spring kit from Sprinco. This is what it looks like. Is that right or did I accidentally stretch it out when installing?

I thought I was set on a Banshee but I’ve seen enough bad to have me worried. Is there another AR9 I should be looking at in that price range? I’d like to buy once cry once but I don’t want to overpay either. I know the solution might be to build but I wanted to see if there was an off the shelf option first.

This might be a stupid question but if it says it’s full auto rated for 300 BO. Would it also be for 9mm as well? I assume it would say if it was so I’m guessing it’s not. I’m looking for the cheapest flow through for my 9mm PCC with FRT, 300 BO, and 308 bolt gun. This seems to be the best option but I’m open to suggestions.

I don’t know basically anything about shotguns other than Benelli is a good brand. I have a chance to buy this one, 28” barrel all black (polymer?). I’m not even sure what to offer the guy. Is there anything wrong with this model? Would it be better to buy this used one or a similarly price Turkish something?

Learning my new pdp. I’m finding I’m having to milk my support hand grip almost every shot. I’ve tried the larger backstrap for more real estate. What’s the next solution? Is it a problem with my grip or is there a product that helps?

Seems like the consensus is Sprinco for trigger spring, ZR tactical for guide rod. This is all I could find on Sprincos website. I assume this is what I need for a PDP Pro FS 4.6”?

I think I spoiled myself with a Cajun Shadow 2 trigger, so I’ve been trying to get better with my PDP Pro (still a solid trigger, just heavier).

These are at 15 yards and slow deliberate pulls. I’m a bit frustrated. Also had a few random flyers almost off paper, and I didn’t notice doing anything different on those. Seem to have a pattern of dipping low.

Not sure what to focus on fixing. Any feedback appreciated.

I’ve been hunting a 9mm PCC, 300 BO AR15, and 308 bolt action suppressor. I realize it won’t be awesome at any of them but I shoot these all less than my 5.56 which has a dedicated.

One thing on my list was a carryover from when I researched 5.56 and that is low back pressure. As I watch some videos though it seems like low back pressure cans sometimes are too low gassed to cycle 300 subs. Should I go with traditional instead of low? Any recommendations? Trying to go as cheap as possible as these are all secondary guns to my 5.56.

I’m pretty overwhelmed with the options. Right now it’s for 5.56 and 300 blackout. Maybe a 308 bolt action. I know there’s more options I’m just curious if there’s anything wrong with this list. I’m looking for hub compatible and flow through (except for the first category). After that, size and weight are more important than sound. I’ve researched enough to know these will suppress enough for my needs. Anything you would change or glaring omissions?

For the money - Polo K or Simple Man

Mid - Ventum 7.62 or Sahara 300

$1k (highest I would go) - Precision TiTrex 360
