I just bought an upper from C3Junkie and am pairing it with an AR15 standard lower. I have an Atrius Selector and am waiting on the Rave 140 trigger to show up. C3 wasn’t sure if it would work due to how thin the trip bar is. Has anyone used this combo? If not, is there another FRT that you can drop in this setup without having to modify anything else?
Hello, everyone! Today after cleaning my BR3, I accidentally released the bolt and it slammed forward. I noticed a gap in the receiver and hand guard immediately after.
How can I remove the hand guard and reseat it so there is no gap? Is it just loosening the two torx bits right there and sliding it off?
Thanks.
Since it is May 7th, I took my Banshee 5.7 yo the range. My brass deflector is taking a beating. I tried different buffer weights to see if I can change the angle of ejection. Decided to put some painter’s tape over it to see the damage. The defector is a removable polymer product and is removable. Does anybody know if there is a metal deflector out there?
My goal here is a 9mm subgun with less recoil than basic blowback, capable of accepting a SS/FRT. I'm leaning towards the dissent as it has a folding brace, but how does the action compare to the banshee? The banshee is also somewhat tempting with the new models coming out ready to mount a tucked suppressor. I already own a CAT MOB mounted on a Ruger 9mm charger and HATE the platform but love the can. Gun has been unreliable even after sending it back multiple times, and while the blowback recoil is manageable of course, it doesn't lend itself well to adding a SS/FRT as they start to come out.
Between the banshee and the dissent, has anyone had any luck adding a SS/FRT to either one? are the actions that much different on pistol calibers?
Picked up Sierra 5 yesterday, a little nervous reading the issues people had with them.
Title states problem, pic for example. CMMG Banshee MK4 300BLK, assuming ZEROED Ambi mag release, Magpul PMag 3rd Gen 300BLK magazine, Wolf 145g steel casing.
Took brand new gun out for a test drive today and had this issue with multiple magazines. I tried various loading capacity, charging handle fully back, slapped the f out of the bottom of the magazine, and it passed pull test before shooting. Can’t tighten the mag release due to bolt catch in the way. Do I have to remove the bolt catch in order to tighten the mag release or am I missing something. CMMG website is not very helpful and I can’t find any info online.
Unfortunately, this is not a super safety post, although I'm working on it. This is a drop-in trip for banshee/res only. Designed around a rare breed, I'm sure it works with other drop-in, but I haven't tested any others yet. No modifications are required. I still need to clean up a few things on the design, but otherwise, it works fine. If enough interest is shown, I'll get a batch cnc for sale.
Had this delivered today and it doesn't fit inside either of my ar uppers both are PSA and both chamber 5.56 bolts fine am I missing something or is the conversion out of spec.
Hi I was wondering it it’s possible to tuck suppressor for the dissent but I can’t find any hand guards for suppressors that are compatible with a forward charging handle. I know the sig mcx doesn’t have this problem since it has a rear charging handle. Any help or input?
I’m looking into getting a suppressor for my 308 BR3. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the cmmg zeroed 30 can on 308 and how well it works, or any input on a different budget friendly can. PFA TIA
Sig Romeo 5, Sig Juliet 3 (3x mag), Streamlight TLR RM1 w/ pressure switch on top, Maxim MS 5.7 Suppressor, all else stock
I want to add an FRT to my 10.5" Dissent pistol in 300BLK. Which one would you all recommend? I would ideally like something drop in if possible.
Thanks in advance!
