Fun sort of hosey stage

First stage from the GPS match on April 4th. Had a bad reload that I'm choosing to blame on my cold hands for not hitting the mag release right away lol. The make up shot was not worth the time spent on it to turn the charlie into an alpha, bad calculation on my part

Safety required?

I feel like I’ve been bamboozled. Before buying this gun I watched every single video I could find and looked at many pictures but never heard mention of a safety and never noticed it in pictures. I’d like to delete it but want to make sure it will still be legal for USPSA. From what I can tell the rules say if there is a safety present it must be engaged but is it stated anywhere that if it’s a factory feature then it must remain?

Magnetic DJI camera hat mount

Everything for GoPro-size cameras puts the camera way too high up over the bill of the hat. Wobbles when you run. The camera is usually impractical to remove between stages. Fixed all of that. 8 magnets glued into the mount stick to the spot the OEM magnetic mount engaged.

Explain please?

GPA match tomorrow. I read the rules. Why are there no even-numbered sections? Did they divide the rules numbers in half to make them different from IDPA?

Looking for shooters to stress-test a target analysis app this weekend

Built an iPhone app called Shooting Coach - photograph your paper target, get a score and a breakdown of what the shot pattern indicates (grip, trigger press, anticipation, etc.).

I've tested it on my own targets but I'm one shooter with one set of problems. Competition shooters with more developed patterns and more consistent groups would give me much better signal on whether the analysis holds up.

If you're shooting this weekend and willing to run a target through it, I'd genuinely value the feedback - what it gets right, what it misses, what's missing entirely. First analysis is free.

Drop a comment or DM and I'll share the link.

Learning to compete with my Shadow 2 compact vs HK VP9L

I know I’m just overthinking this, but I figured I’d getting some advice. I am finally getting into GPA and IDPA local matches. I have a Shadow 2 compact and a HK Vp9L with enough gear to start competing. I’m looking to commit to a platform for a little bit, but I’m stuck between the two. Last match I used the HK and it felt great in my hands but I feel like the s2c has a higher ceiling. At the same time, the trigger on the hk isn’t the best and shops flatter than cz. Should I stick to the hk and get $1500 buyers remorse or learn the CZ?
