His and hers: PDP vs Glock 19

Tried to get my wife on the PDP train, but she liked the feel of the Glock better. Not a bad gun at all (I carry it regularly), but it's no PDP.

PD380 is complete, I think.

All I need now is a holster which is becoming a fruitless search.

Professional with MPS

Professional Acro. I got the Steiner because baby needed a dot after taking the Acro off for my work M&P.

Had to get a German dot for a German beast.

Not zeroed yet. Glass is super clean. Pictures to show how MPS sits (dot is set higher so you can see it).

Ultra Mass Guide Rod Spring

I just recently purchased an Ultra Mass guide rod and a PMM comp for my Pro SD Compact. I got the 3 spring pack with the guide rod. I’m wondering if anyone with a similar setup can tell me which spring would be the best. The ZR site says the 15 lb spring won’t work with the ProXPMM but I’m not sure if the applies to the SD with the standard comp as well.

Walther as First Firearm? Tell Your Tale

I’m interested in some anecdotal evidence & stories about how you came to have a Walther as your **very first** firearm.

Why? I just read elsewhere on this sub that someone’s first firearm was a PDP Pro, which struck me as improbable. Walther is a quality-oriented company, not a quantity company. It’s like a Breitling as your first watch, or a Mercedes as your first car. (Busted or fine, odd firsts no matter what)

But then I thought perhaps there may be some good tales as to how you guys (and gals) landed with a dream/grail gun as your *first* gun.

Is the PDP Compact difficult to conceal carry?

I've done a side-by-side size comparison at my local gun shop and the PDP seems very similar in size to the Glock 19, which I've carried concealed OWB for years. But I've seen a lot of discussions online about how more difficult to conceal than other pistols.

Is there something about it that makes concealment more difficult than other options?

New PDP owner looking for optics suggestions

As the title suggests I can pick up my PDP Pro 4.5 steel frame next week (maryland waiting period) and I’m in the market for an optic. I have a HS 507c on my glock that i enjoy but I’m open to recommendations.
