Why can’t a single TV travel tv show be truthful for once?

Deceptive camera angles -> Easiest example, The Great Pyramids, they show them in some remote wilderness surrounded by sand. When in reality they‘re super close to the city. As a result, 90% of people you ask, still believe the pyramids are in some great remote dessert.

Sugar coating -> Vist Hamburg! It‘s a clean and lovely city! Please be real, Hamburg has a ton of homeless, poverty, prostitution, harbor smells, grime and pollution from manufacturing and oil handling. Just show us the truth! It’s much more interesting!

Lying -> Straight up just lying. Just take the train, it’s super easy! Turns out theres just 1 train, that runs at 11AM and gets there at 2PM,  and there’s an 30 minute walk and the destination attraction closes at 5PM. Oh and the last train back leave at 7PM so you won’t have any time to a restaurant to eat. Just tell us the truth. Tell me the train is hard to catch and arrives early and late randomly. Tell me it’s going to a stressful tight connection, but it’s worth a try to get to a lovey place. It’s make so much more enjoyable when i know what to really expect and I’m not surprised while carting 30 pounds of luggage.

Whats your biggest surprise about being lied to by TV shows when you got to your destination and saw the truth for yourself?

Called hertz to update a upcoming reservation for December. Just want to shorten it 1 day as the flight has changed.

They are refusing to update the reservation unless I give them a credit card.

What's going on here?

This isn't a prepaid reservation. I didn't need a credit card to book the reservation. I am Hertz President circle before and could update reservations without issue before.

Did I maybe call the wrong number?

Can you open TaskManager and Go to Startup Apps Section.

In the top corner there is Last BIOS Time, which is how long your laptop spent in BIOS before it even tried to boot windows.

Can you report what you get? Are some laptops much faster booting than others?

I can get windows to boot in under 3 seconds using a super nice $1,000 SSD, but it spends 19.4 seconds in BIOS, making a faster SSD kind a waste of money for fast boot times.

Dude, It seems the new Dell Pro Max Plus laptops take 18 seconds to turn on, BEFORE even handing off to windows to boot up. 18 seconds Bois time + 3 second windows boot time.

The previous generation Dell Precision 7650 to 7670 took only 5 seconds from power button press to get into windows.

It sort of kills the windows fast-boot time of just 3 seconds.

This is a deal breaker for me, becuase these massive laptops have like 3 hour battery life. So i hibernate them when I'm not using them.

As putting them to sleep still consumes about 10 watts of power, which means you only have around 5 to 8 hours of sleep time at best. Hibernate time should be infinite time.

But waiting 1/2 minute for them to turn on so I can read a few emails is bad. Previously I could hibernate, attended a lecture or meeting for 30 minutes, wake from hibernate in 5 seconds and reply to emails for 3 minutes before the next meeting, then re-hibernate to save battery.

Uploaded video to youtube as well.
