Dell Pay Credit Account $50 Bonus Dell Rewards Dollars
Hi all,
I've opened a Dell Pay Credit Account, enrolled in DellDell Rewards, and made a purchase on February when they had this special offer:
"Earn $50 (5,000 points) when you open a Dell Pay Credit Account and are enrolled in Dell Rewards. Offer ends: 4/29/2026."
https://www.dell.com/en-us/lp/dell-financing-details
In the terms, they said it will be credited within 30 business days. It's been over a month I still haven't received the reward.
I have contacted several support teams, and they all didn't know which should be the right team to contact.
Does anyone actually receive the reward from this program? Or does anyone know which number I should reach out to?
Thanks!
My 2026 Dell XPS 16 short review
Pros
- Excellent display – The tandem OLED panel is outstanding in brightness and color accuracy.
- Superb speakers – The sound quality rivals the quad-speaker setup of the MacBook Air 15".
- Great keyboard – Although some claim the zero-lattice design causes frequent typos, that’s unfounded. The short key travel is compensated by excellent tactile feedback, creating the illusion of deeper travel.
- Elegant design – As always, the XPS lineup is praised for its premium, refined aesthetics.
Cons
- Difficult internal access – Opening the bottom case requires loosening four screws and using a pry tool and thin plastic stick, which is quite troublesome. Inexperienced users risk damaging the chassis.
- Early production defects – Initial batches had firmware problems with the keyboard and trackpad. The keyboard sometimes missed input during fast typing, while the trackpad could stop functioning after extended use. The keyboard issue was resolved through a BIOS update, but replacing the trackpad is recommended. The original trackpad has an exposed gold haptic module, while the improved version covers it with a silver metal plate—likely for insulation purposes.
Display Cable Replacement(?)
4 year old Dell Precision 5570, I have these vertical shadowy lines on the screen. This showed up last year and I got the screen replaced but now it happened again. I think it’s the display cable not the screen- how should I go about handling this? Is this fixable on my own with minimal computer experience? Or should I just send it in to get fixed?
Please help me fix this, I'll be needing this laptop for the next few days.
AW3423DWF owner on my 3rd unit due to recurring coating issues - Dell offering refurbished same model each time - is this really the best they can do?
I've been a loyal Alienware customer since purchasing an AW3423DWF for $1,200. I am now on my fourth unit of the same monitor, having gone through three replacements due to recurring quality issues, with the same known coating problems. I'm hoping someone here has dealt with this and found a better path.
My unit history:
Unit 1 - bezel coating damage
Unit 2 - Replaced June 2024, another known bubble/coating issue
Unit 3 - Same coating issue recurring, currently being replaced
Unit 4 - Incoming refurbished replacement, same model
I've already escalated to a supervisor at u/DellCares on X. Despite my warranty being active until January 2027, the only resolution on offer is another refurbished AW3423DWF.
One thing that particularly frustrated me: Dell is using the system's manufacture date to calculate its age rather than my actual purchase date of February 2024. I had no knowledge of or control over when the unit was manufactured, yet this is being used as a factor in determining what resolutions are available to me. Had Dell assigned me a unit manufactured slightly later I would apparently qualify for different options.
I'm not here to blast Dell - I actually love the monitor minus its coating issues which are apparent more and more. I'm just trying to understand if there's a path forward that doesn't involve receiving the same potentially defective unit repeatedly until my warranty expires.
Has anyone successfully escalated a similar situation and received any resolution beyond a same-model refurbished replacement? Would appreciate any advice on who to contact or how to approach this.

Thoughts on Dell Pro 13 (Ultra 7 268V / 32GB RAM) for Unity & C# Dev?
Considering the new Dell Pro 13 Premium for my daily driver.
Specs:
• CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 268V (8C/8T)
• RAM: 32GB LPDDR5x (On-package)
• GPU: Intel Arc 140V (Integrated)
• Screen: 13.3" QHD+ Touch
Workflow:
• Unity: 2D and light 3D development.
• C# / .NET: Primary IDE is Visual Studio. Working on backend APIs and general C# projects.
• Web Dev: Full-stack, Docker, Laravel.
Concerns: How does the 268V handle compilation and Unity baking without Hyper-Threading? Is the thermal throttling an issue in this 13-inch chassis under sustained load?
Would you recommend this for a portable dev setup or should I look for something with a dGPU?
Thanks!
CPU speed stuck at 0.40 Ghz.
I've updated my laptop in January and since then it's lagging. I reinstalled the old version of windows 11 because of that and it worked better. But the CPU speed is still stuck at 0.40 GHz. I've tried disabling C-state, Throttlestop, and it's the same when on battery and when it's plugged-in. Everything only works only for a few hours and then it's again back on 400MHz.
Model: Dell Vostro 14 3430

Headphones continously screeching sound
These are JBL Tune760NC. When I use them with my mobile device for music, YouTube, meetings, etc., they work perfectly fine. But when I connect them to my laptop, a Dell Pro Max 14 MC 14250, even if I don't play any audio, they keep screeching like this.
Please help me find a solution to this issue.
Thanks in advance.
Dell stylus not working
I have a dell PN7522W stylus I use for school and a dell latitude 9450. This pen was working fine and now it’s starting to cut in and out where more often now I need to let it “rest” for 5 minutes and then it will start working again sometimes for hours other times for only 10 minutes. Is there anything I can do to remedy this?
Regarding Dell laptop battery and warranty
less than a year ago I bought a dell OEM battery from their official website in Germany. just after a few months of use I started seeing the battery degrade so fast. now about 11 months and I'm still under warranty period, the battery only has around 69wh instead the original 97wh. I tried to reach through the customer support, technical support and even calls to get someone so I can request for a new one since that's not acceptable for a new battery. I feel like there are a bunch of scammers, like no option to reach out to them. I could have brought a 3rd party battery but I thought the OEM ones would be better. anyone know how to reach out to these people? I've been trying for hours and it's so frustrating.
Is there any supported configuration or method that allows utilization of the full combined capacity (~1.5 TB) while still benefiting from RAID 0 performance?
I’m using an Alienware Area-51m with two SSDs (1 TB and 512 GB) configured in RAID 0 through Intel RST.
I understand that RAID 0 typically limits total usable capacity to twice the size of the smaller drive, which results in only ~1 TB being available in my current setup. However, I would like to know:
Is there any supported configuration or method that allows utilization of the full combined capacity (~1.5 TB) while still benefiting from RAID 0 performance?
Does Dell offer any hybrid RAID or alternative storage configuration that avoids unused space with mismatched drive sizes?
Are there BIOS or Intel RST settings specific to the Area-51m that could change how capacity is allocated?
If full capacity in RAID 0 is not possible, what configuration would you recommend to maximize both performance and storage efficiency on this system?
Thank you.
I'm guessing she isn't supposed to fold like that
She is a dell g15 who now crackles and opens up when I try to open her(it was a hassle to close her). And I also found a tiny black screw which escaped from her. Gonna get her to a service centre and will update on the costs n stuff
Boot Priority Order does not work
Hello, I was smearing in some settings of my Windows when out of nowhere after I reboot it, the BIOS does not recognize any devices, I do not know if this is the right topic for this, but has anyone gone through this and knows how to solve it?
Dell Inspiron 5570 cooler compatibility
I'm looking at getting the llano v12 cooling pad for my laptop but I'm worried that the intake vents would be covered by the foam. Can anyone confirm?
Latitude E5540 wattage and type cannot be determined.
Hi,
I have an old Dell Latitude E5540 laptop. It works great after installing Linux and an SSD. However, I have one issue. Sometimes on boot, it shows an error like the one in the title.
Previously, it also turned on by itself once when I plugged in the AC adapter, and there was an error about the time and date. That was due to the CMOS battery, which I have since replaced, so that is no longer the issue.
When I push the AC adapter plug firmly into the port, the error never appears. I wonder whether the problem is with the AC adapter or the port. Is there a way to determine that? Unfortunately, I don't have another charger to test it.
Also, I don’t have a battery—the laptop only works when plugged into the charger.
No attention span from Dell C suite executives
Mr Michael Dell - both of your c suite execs Megan Johnson and Christina Crowley have an attention span of a coma patient at the dell company. They dont even understand their own portfolio and never seem to pay attention during presentation. you will see a ethics complaint against both of them..what is the point of having such an hierarchy in the org when things dont get done. I will share a full detailed post on what exactly happens in the org.
