Is $850 enough for a catheter study?

I was contacted by a medical research study today. The study pays $850 over 1 week with only 3 office visits. It's for a healthy volunteer. I would have to get a catheter inserted and have it stay in place for 1 day. Then at the end before the catheter is removed, I would have to get a device inserted in my rectum for 1 hour.

I've never done a study like this before. I don't need the money that badly but it pays well for a short period of time.

Should I tell people I have Aspergers or just let them think I'm weird or different for an unknown reason?

I'm pretty certain I have what was Aspergers Syndrome. A psychologist who I saw for counseling several years ago told me that I have Aspergers Syndrome. Four of five other people familiar with autism have brought it up to me.

I think most people who get to know me can tell that I'm different from most people in some way. I'm very quiet and introverted. I've struggled with depression and social anxiety throughout my life. I have social anxiety. I struggle with repetitive thoughts. I have a slightly awkward gait & a flat affect. I strongly dislike loud noises, bright lights, & surprises. I'm easily annoyed, easily embarrassed, easily startled, & easily misunderstood. I'm also very impatient, & will often just leave a situation if I feel uncomfortable or nervous.

I'm 39. I own my own home. I receive VA disability, so I don't have to work. I don't have any contact with my family, & I don't have any real friends. I'm alone probably 95% of the time, not including my pet cats. I'm very bad at driving, & don't own a vehicle or have a license. If I do meet someone and they become part of my life should I tell them that I'm on the autism spectrum to help explain my differences from most people?

It's extremely disappointing to see what's happening to America.

Most of Trump's administration is made up of former reality TV stars, podcasters, & Fox News hosts. Kid Rick has went joyriding on Army helicopters.

I don't understand how so many Americans support this stupid shit.

Why would anyone who's paying attention to current events be optimistic about the future of the American economy?

What signs or economic data would make someone be optimistic that the U.S. economy is going to turn around and improve?

I'm not sure if this is a conspiracy or if people are just stupid.

The stated beliefs of what Trump supporters think of Trump don't make logical sense.

He wears orange bronzer, dyes his hair blonde, dances to village people songs. So he's masculine.

He was a draft dodger, & he hates the constitution. So he's patriotic.

He's bankrupted multiple casinos. So he's a great businessman.

He misspells words & goes on crazy rants. So he's a stable genius.

He's a billionaire who was born & raised in New York City. So he's fighting the elites as an outsider.

He's fathered 5 children with 3 different wives. He's had affairs with prostitutes. He's talked about dating his daughter. So he's fighting degenerates.

He was a close friend of Jeffrey Epstein. So he's saving the children.

He's a convicted felon who tried to overthrow the government. So he's tough on crime.

He's added roughly $10 trillion to the national debt. So he's great for the economy.

There was an assassination attempt at the Whitehouse. So he needs a ballroom built.

The U.S. economy isn't doing well. It's extremely obvious to everyone who isn't wealthy. How much is a potential economic collapse during Trump's presidency being talked about in your neighborhood & city?

There's been a dramatic increase in religious talk since Trump became president again.

Trump has made multiple posts depicting himself as Jesus.

Many Trump supporters compare Trump to Jesus.

People in the federal government keep talking about God.

People in the Pentagon have framed the war in Iran in religious terms.

The irony of it all is that most of the people who keep talking about God & Jesus aren't very good Christians.

Many people who are openly cruel keep talking about their love of Jesus.

I didn't really like most of my 6 years as a soldier from 2008 - 2014. I would feel embarrassed to be in the Army now with Trump fucking everything up.

My family has been in America for multiple generations. I'm from Indiana. My ethnic mix of English, Scottish, Irish, & German is pretty common among white Americans in middle America who are multiple generations removed from the immigrant experience.

Roughly 10 - 20 people in my adult life have asked me or assumed that I'm Polish, Russian, or that I'm descended from somewhere in Eastern Europe. I don't have any connections to anywhere in Eastern Europe. I'm 6 feet tall, broad shoulders, blue eyes, & a sharp jawline when I'm not fat. I attached some pictures of me, including a childhood picture.8
