I passed! Officially a USRN! 🇺🇸
1st and Last Take!
An average college student na may midyear pa because of MS.
I took my exam last Monday—no one knew, not even my family, that I’d be taking it. While I was answering, my computer shut off at 96. I was really expecting to go all the way to 150. I was super nervous when I started answering the questions. I prayed—really prayed hard—with every question because they were so vague. I felt like I knew the topics, it’s just that there were literally two correct answers, haha.
It took me around 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish. I was shaking, and the proctor came up to me and said, “Congrats, ma’am.” I went downstairs feeling shocked about what just happened. I didn’t know what to feel—I was scared but also relieved because I surrendered everything to God.
I cried, then did the PVT (trick) to register and received the good pop-up twice after 8 hours. I cried again because I still couldn’t believe it. But I chose to trust God. Psalm 46:5.
I studied for 3 weeks. I used Bootcamp, NCLEX (free trial), Mark K Lecture 12, and Dr. Sharon’s prioritization videos.
All glory to God!
Anyone here who took the May 4 exam—were you able to see your quick results on the site?
Long post ahead! Has anyone experienced the same thing with BPI
So BPI initially offered me a ₱180k cash loan payable for 36 months, but I didn’t take it because the interest was too high. Instead, I asked about getting a credit card.
I went to my branch to update my address since I recently relocated, and I mentioned I wanted to apply for a CC. The staff assisted me, had me fill out a form, and selected a Platinum card. She told me to wait around 10 days for delivery.
When I got home, I received a message and saw a notification in the app saying I was eligible (no docs needed) with a ₱180k credit limit. I applied through the app, and a customer number was generated. It showed both Amore and Platinum—same as the offer I previously received via call.
After 5 days, I received a Platinum card. Then 2 days later, I got another message that a card was delivered to my condo lobby (I wasn’t there, so I requested redelivery). At that time, I thought this second delivery was just the Amore card.
When I called BPI about the delivery and cancellation, I told them to cancel the Platinum under the Amore account because I assumed that the Amore + Platinum I saw in the app were just shared under one limit (the one I applied for online).
But after checking more carefully, I noticed:
The Platinum card I already received had a reduced available limit (since I already used it)
The Amore + Platinum account still had the full ₱180k limit untouched
That’s when I realized they might actually be separate accounts/limits, not shared 😅
Now I’m worried I might have made a mistake canceling the Platinum under the Amore account.
Questions:
Is it possible that instead of ₱180k, I actually got ₱360k total credit limit (separate per customer number)?
Did I mess up by canceling the Platinum under the Amore account?
Does canceling that card have any negative effect (credit score, future approvals, relationship with BPI, etc.)?
