Not only is generative AI beneficial, it is good for resolving ethical situations. Case in point: ChatGPT sided with me in pointing out inaccuracies in a grad-level lab assignment

The professor for this class, back in 2019, kept claiming I didn't get a sensible answer because of alleged unit conversion errors on my behalf. I double-checked everything and saw my work was good, but he kept pressuring me.

Eventually, he decided to take a second look -- after two months of arguing. He said that all three.RGB channels were supposed to be calibrated, not just the green channel (exactly what I figured out by myself, though having to do this caused a lot of unneeded stress). Of course, he blamed it on "confusing" wording as opposed to being incorrect.

However, in five minutes, ChatGPT Pro found the error in the linked chat. We are at the point where ChatGPT Pro is very difficult to argue with. Overall, this would have greatly validated my concerns.

Moved to Alexandria, Virginia for patent examiner training.

Alexandria seems really amazing! I saw a guy in a business suit riding an electric razor home, that sums up my view of the area's culture nicely.

I think I get to relocate after training though, which I want to do only because of the steep cost of living.
