Not sure how many people know about this but there's a blood donation center on Centreville Rd (Inova) where if you donate they'll run lab tests from the same draw for free. Lipid panel, CMP, hormones, a few others. Haven't had bloodwork done in a while and kept putting it off because I didn't want to deal with insurance or pay out of pocket. Found it through Goodlabs that partners with Inova out there. Anyway figured some of you might be in the same boat.

Hi all! Hope everyone’s week is going well!

Looks like they’re bringing Project Hail Mary back to IMAX for another week and I’m trying to decide whether to watch it at Udvar or at the Tyson’s AMC IMAX.

I understand that Udvar has the largest screen (maybe better sound too) and Tysons AMC IMAX has the much better comfy seats. Honestly, I love that Udvar implemented reserve seating but hate that they kept their uncomfortable chairs.

Anyone that recently watched a movie at both care to chime in or offer some thoughts? Is it that big of a difference?

There are a lot of misleading ads being shown on television and online using quotes from Abigail Spanberger and Barack Obama. These ads are encouraging people to vote NO on April 21. These ads are purposely trying to mislead people into voting the way that will give Trump more power by using the quotes and faces of Democratic politicians.

Let them know how you feel about our involvement in "exterminating" the people of Iran. Remind them of the blood on their hands if they continue to play ignorant. No kings, no autocracies, NO NEW WARS. We the People abide by the same constitution they do, let's remind them of that. How will they use their elected power to check this administration's overreach?

Your kid was super cute. They did the right thing asking first and waiting patiently. I’m sorry I wasn’t prepared for the neighborhood kid part of socializing a puppy! I really hated to tell them no, but she (the dog) was already kinda freaking out. She’s never snapped before but I didn’t want to take a chance. I felt so bad 🤦‍♀️.

I’m a May BSN New Grad and I’ve been applying to INOVA’s cohorts with no response just “under consideration” on my application for a couple months now. I did get an email saying they would reach out in the coming months but I have heard people getting interviewed. Does anyone have a direct contact with the hiring manager or a member on HR for support? This would be extremely helpful! 😊
