Saw my doctor today, and finally told him what’s been going on. He was awesome! He prescribed me some non-narcotic medication that he said would help the withdrawal phase and the cravings. I’m no medical expert, so I really appreciated his wisdom. Second, he said he’s gonna give me a referral to an addictions counselor. They’ve got great ones where I’m from! So I’m gonna get hooked up with that soon. Hope is on the horizon! You guys are a big part of that 😊 🙏

I’m at 24 for the first time in 6 months

Have any of you spent time photographing bats? Weird question, I know. I live in a small town in Montana and my family and I see a lot of bats early in the morning when it’s bright enough. No photos, yet. But it’s definitely on my To Do List, this summer 🦇

I always feel so awkward in conversations because 9 times out of ten, people look at me quizzically and I know I’ve been off topic.

Doing better today than I did yesterday. Always got to count the small wins. They add up! So thankful for all of your support. We’re in this together!

Not my best day with taper. At least I’m finishing strong and have learned a little about how I can do better tomorrow

Again, not perfect. But progress, not perfection, right? Was in bed thinking about having another one. Forced myself to just close my eyes and fall asleep without it, though. Winning one day at a time 👍

Today wasn’t perfect, but I had less than I’ve had in months… making progress!!

Does anyone have any tips on finding the willpower to just decide to quit and then stick with it. I’ve told myself I’m going to quit over and over and over. But I always go back… thanks 🙏

When I began this journey, I felt really intimidated and nervous about quitting. Now, I'm on my second day of the withdrawal process and have discovered a new strategy. How did you manage it? How did you overcome everything? I’m keeping a positive attitude and staying grateful, which is helping me handle the withdrawal more smoothly. I have so much to be thankful for, and you all play a big role in that. Let’s break free from this and never look back! You all are amazing! 😊

Started tapering. Working great!! 👍 Am making progress and reducing my dose. Let’s get as far away from this stuff as we can, my friends ‼️
