New here!

Hello I kinda stumbled across this subreddit during a search into some religions! I was raised Christian and have been away from the faith and calling myself an atheist for years now but deep down I feel a calling to something but I just really don’t know what and just kind of seeing what’s out there! What can you guys tell me about pantheism? Any advice or facts? Thanks in advance!!

Uniforms?

Hello all I work at a Wyndham hotel and I have a question for you guys. I started last July and they were not enforcing uniforms at all and just to dress formally while at work which is what me and other staff have done. Recently we received awful feeling/looking long sleeve uniforms and as a diabetic I am going to overheat in that all summer and I know it too. Anyways the issue comes in with the assistant manager saying her and the owner don’t have to wear uniforms because they dress “formally”. The owner I understand… but if all other staff are being forced into wearing uniforms shouldn’t she (the assistant manager) as well? Maybe I am the issue but this doesn’t seem fair, it’s almost as if they’re picking and choosing. Does anyone else have this issue? Thanks in advance!

Hello all I am 21 years old and was raised in a Christian home. I left the faith probably around 16 or so years old just as I watched so much horrible stuff happen I struggled to believe a “loving” god would allow such things. I then switched to more spiritualism I suppose you’d call it where I use tarot cards and wear crystals but I don’t worship anyone or follow/set myself into any set religion. Lately I’ve felt a slight calling towards reading my Bible again but I don’t think it’s because I feel I belong to Christianity. Especially as a bisexual girl who does not hold back, as someone who is in a relationship and having premarital sex, being a 420 smoker etc and have absolutely no want to change these things about myself. I feel like I have this want to belong to a group of people, I think it’s mainly to bring myself peace as I am having a tougher time again in life currently. Does anyone have any laid back kind of spiritual religions I suppose that they’d recommend I look into? Any advice or anything really is welcome. Thanks in advance

Hello all as I said in the title I am an ex Christian. I am 21F and was raised Christian. I left the faith at around 16 years old and lately I just keep wanting to read the Bible. I’m a bisexual girl who is a big 420 smoker and all that stuff now and I’ve used crystals but the issue is I have no desire to change or stop these things. but like I said I’ve been having this feeling to read my Bible But I need your help with some things I’d like to look for in the Bible.

1.) Where does God say to follow new rules and disregard in a sense what the Old Testaments rules are?

2.) Where can I find verses on where it is talked about homosexuality?

3.) Where can I read about what it takes to be saved/get into heaven? (Asking as someone who doesn’t want to follow something that is hateful towards who I am)

Thank you all in advance and any other passages and verses are welcome!

Hey all! I just wanted to say thanks in advance for any answers I get here! I am 21F and for many years my mom controlled every aspect of my diabetes and I had nothing to do with it. I’ve gone no contact with my mom 1.5 years ago now and really let myself go in that time and am hoping to lower my a1c and keep myself in range more. My last a1c (6 or so months ago) was 10 and I am currently waiting on new results but won’t have them till the end of the month. I’ve heard if you lower your a1c or get your blood sugar in range to quickly that you can cause more complications in your eyes and whatnot. My question to you guys is how do I go about lowering my a1c quickly but not too quickly? Is there a correct timeline? And also just any tips as a whole are welcome to lower this! Thank you!

Hello all for context I have been type one since I was just over one year old and am now 21 years old. My mom always managed my blood sugars my whole life but I’ve recently gone no contact with her as she became abusive. I’m not sure if she never let me learn to care for myself because of control but anyways. I’m not super knowledgeable in what I can do. My blood sugars are out of control although I’ve been doing better recently but still really not good and my last A1C from 6 months ago was 10 and I’m waiting on new results now. I was wondering what tips and tricks you guys have to lower A1C and keep blood sugars in range and quickly and what you do to keep the motivation up to keep going and give it your all every day. Please no judgement I am just trying to fix this. I appreciate all answers thank you for your tips and tricks!

I was curious how you would describe what it looked like when you had your eye issues start. Was it fuzzy or were there floaty things? Thanks in advance
