Has This Happened To You? When Naysayers Tell You Your Idea Won't Work. and Then When It Does... ;)

One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to people that have fantastic ideas that I personally believe can eventually be successful, is when they drop the idea because friends or family told them it would not work. But because this happened to me many years ago I had the same thing happen when a family member said that my scavenger hunt idea was a trend. It would never work however I never listen to it if anything it got me stronger after several years of dabbling with it and a lot of sacrifice it eventually became successful and now I've been in business for 26 years. The funny thing is the person that told me that it would not Work 25 years ago, Lee has said that "I told you it always would work" the truth of the matter is a lot of people do drop the idea because of that so if you know somebody that has a great idea, always give them the encouragement. They need to move forward because it will always be remembered. Those of you that have amazing ideas close out all the noise and move forward and if anyone tells you that your idea was stupid or would never work and come back to you a couple years later and tell you what they told me that "I told you it would always work" just nod to them and smile. Keep creating and as always onward and upward.

Family Game Days on Memorial Day..A Thing Of The Past?

Remember when it came to Memorial Day back in the day where everything was closed. People will be having cookouts left and right and the pure smell of grills were everywhere. I remember as a kid family would always have cool games of the kids played during the cookouts either field day type of games. Like four square dodgeball basketball you name it and families would compete against families and it was always a great thing because people were outside. People were with friends and family and it always created memories. The question is now when it comes to Memorial Day, which is an important day that we honor our service men and service women for their commitment and service to our country that everything is open, you don't smell that many grills anymore and families are not together as much because quite frankly they're working. I'm sure that there are some of those types of gathering still going on but if you grew up in the 70s 80s 90s or today what was your favorite outdoor game that you would play with your families outside?

So I just created a repo on GitHub and the hit the GitHub button on Lovable and connected. However did my whole site go over? When I go to GitHub where do I see the whole code? I just want to be sure it transferred over. Dumb question does each lovable project have a different repo on GitHub ?

Been wanting to go up there for a very long time because they have had some cool acts since they have opened. However I am unsure based on the set up. Any pros or cons for those that have attended. Because the prices sometimes are reasonable and sometimes they are not.

Boston has really transformed itself in the last 20 plus years with the ever-changing and permenate public art scene in the city. This time of year as of this writing May1 2026 we start to see public art to pop up all around the city, it basically a scavenger hunt in it self. Not to mention the Winteractive project that has taken place these last couple of months! As I always say look up, down, right, and left and you are bound to see something new pop up in public art!
