Outdoor Infra Red Sauna in UK

Outdoor Infra Red Sauna in UK

I'm currently swaying toward the CenturaHeat 3-person infra red sauna. (https://yourfitnesshub.co.uk/products/centuraheat-3-person-outdoor-infrared-sauna-heat-hs5002)

Main reasons for infra red are convenience and energy efficiency compared to traditional.

Any reasons why I shouldn't go for it?

I'm going to paint/treat the outside to weather proof it.

Is 'full spectrum' really that important, as this doesn't have it.

Are there any plastic contact free water filter jugs? The Doulton Berkely system looks great in that it lowers plastics, pharmaceuticals and fluoride, but don’t want an ‘urn’ ideally. Would much rather a jug.

I've tried a few times with creatine monohydrate (from a few brands) and have had what appeared to be issues with methylation or issues that my body couldn't easily deal with (foggy head in morning especially, improved cognition but chipped away over weeks and months of poor sleep quality).

Have been using creature for a week and so far so good. No issues at all.

Any ideas what could have been causing the negative effects? If monohydrate is supposedly 99.9% pure - is the 0.01% 'filler' something that effects me so badly?

I'm certain it's the non-creapure as I have even been clean for a few weeks, and with one 5g dose of 'standard' monohydrate, I had foggy head the next morning and interrupted sleep, whereas had been sleeping very well with a clear head in the morning. Creapure - all good.

All incoming calls pop up with a notification in CarPlay, and while the notification remains the audio playing stops so I'm in silence until I either cancel the call, or let them ring out.

How can I stop this? I have driving focus set to silenced for notifications, yet they still come through. Anything else I can do.

I'm quite happy for NO phone calls or messages to appear in CarPlay, or on my phone at all between certain times as I choose when to deal with phone calls or messages (except for a few contacts like my partner and friends and family).

Any advice would be great. I've done the usual GPT and Google search, but everything I've done 'should' mean no notifications at all while driving, yet they still continue.

Chronic Laryngitis (again), any thing work for you?

I've been here before many times. I'm generally very healthy (no smoking, minimal drinking alcohol) eat good home made food, organic where possible. I had a cold, which cleared in two days, a day or two later I've been stuck with laryngitis for seven weeks so far.

I haven't been to a doctor as I did last time, and the time before that and ultimately nothing could be done. Last time I had a laryngoscopy and nothing out of the ordinary was found, no nodules were present. It did clear up on its own after the laryngoscopy (which was 2 months after being referred by my GP). I've been tried on a couple of acid reflux relief treatments which didn't do anything too.

Everything says 'just rest your voice, plenty of fluids, etc' but it's incredibly debilitating. I do speak for work, but is quite minimal. As always there's lots of mucus that daily clears after builidng up over night. Has anyone else had this and found something that worked for them?

I've had a Mitsi Electric mini split (2 in fact - one x3 for downstairs, one x4 for upstairs) for a few years. The noisey one is mounted off the ground off the wall outside. The 'quiet' one is mounted on the ground below it on rubber mounts.

Both operate perfectly well, but since install the upstairs unit when cooling or heating makes a very low base warble through the pipes (as far as I can tell) and the noise really travels through the house.

When it's working hard, it doesn't do it, when it's 'idling' (the temperature has been reached) is when it appears to be worst.

The installer is no longer available, and I did raise it with them twice after install and they checked it all, and just said that's just how they are.

Is there anything that can be done from your expertise? It really grates when ideally would like it running for an hour or two before bed, but it rumbles through the house downstairs.

Clearly nothing is at fault in terms of component failure, but surely something can be done?

So how do we reasonably deal with this? A dog or cat will absolutely damage the carpets as well as affect other parts of the property.

Is denying such requests with the reason that it will 'damage the property' reasonable or not?

I appreciate there are rights for tenants as well as landlords, but without increasing rent when allowing certain pets, are we expected to just suck it up?

If our owner requested a dog, and we have no option to reasonably deny the request, we would literally sell up.
