What did you think of Puppet Master The Littlest Reich?

SPOILERS for Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich below.

Hey everyone,

What did you think of Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich?

I went into it blind, excited for another entry in the Puppet Master universe, but honestly it felt like a movie that probably shouldn’t have used the Puppet Master IP at all.

I can’t say I fully enjoyed or disliked it, because the core concept was interesting. That said, I think it would’ve worked better as an original horror film instead of being tied to Puppet Master. To me, the classic Puppet Master movies are about fighting Nazis — not being the Nazis. The puppets in the Full Moon Features franchise always felt more like anti-heroes, and they usually only do evil things when controlled by their master.

The Littlest Reich felt much more mean-spirited and seemed more focused on shock value and cashing in on the franchise name. It just wasn’t what I expected, even knowing it wasn’t made by Full Moon.

I’m absolutely fine with gore-heavy films — I love Terrifier, Hostel, and classics like Cannibal Holocaust and Faces of Death — but Puppet Master, to me, has always been lighter horror with anti-hero puppets and more of a good vs. evil vibe.

What are your thoughts?

Hey,

I recently purchased this DVD brand new in shrink wrap.

All of the films have played apart from Puppet Master 8: The Legacy. For background im playing it on a region free panasonic UK bluray player.

Hey,

I recently binned 100s of VHS tapes as I honestly thought no one wanted them. Unless they where rare pre-cert or films/TV not on digital formats I thought they where just junk.

Yesterday in a charity shop they had shelves full of VHS tapes and people where buying them. Personally I don't understand why anyone wants general movies that can easily be bought on DVD or Blu-ray in cex for a few quid in 2026 on VHS especially since tapes degrade, are prone to mold and are bulky.

I remember when DVDs first gained popularity and it was magical to have bonus features, smaller cases and clearer picture! No more cleaning the tape head, unscrewing the machine to get out an eaten tape or snowey, crappy pictures!

Hey,

I've seen all the orginal Halloween films and I recently got the new Trilogy on DVD. I really enjoyed Halloween 2018 but, my gosh Halloween Kills was so borning and I ended up fast fowarding the film to stop zoning out! I can honestly say Halloween H20 was better and that was terrible...

Is Halloween Ends better or is it boring too?

Thanks!

My hamster Elijha is getting old now. Hes 2.5 years and loosing his strength. He's very tame, friendly and will let you pick him up for attention. He loves to hide in sleeves, pockets and clothing.

My favourite picture of him despite the flash accidentally going off! I'm feeling rather depressed seeing him get less active and physically fit. I'm going to be devastated when he crosses rainbow bridge.

Hello,

I remember buying and eating boiled sweets called 'Tyne mints'. They where sold by weight in jars and orange in colour similar to Barley Sugars. The taste of Tyne Mints where a cross between a Murry Mint and a Black Bullet. I've not seen Tyne Mints in over 20 years and Google brings up nothing.

Thanks!
