My collection of 80’s/90’s toys, VHS, and DVDs has been slowly growing and I needed a place to store everything. Instead of just buying a normal shelf, I thought it would be fun to recreate the vibe of walking into Blockbuster on a Friday night.

So I built a Blockbuster style display shelf with the classic blue and yellow colors and made a Blockbuster Video lightbox for the top.

Now it basically feels like I have a tiny Blockbuster in my house.

Still half tempted to start charging late fees to myself just for old times sake !!!

I think it's his best.

Bought some cheap dvd for the case and swapped em over. Hard to believe they didn’t get released like this (or did they??)

My local charity shop sells Blu-Rays for £1 and DVD's at 10 for £1. I nabbed these today on a lunch break trip on a work from home day - so glad I went!

I have grabbed so much from this store recently. Long live physical media! I can't help myself at £1 each.

As for what I am watching first? it has to be Back To The Future. 😍

Got a new bookshelf and can finally fit all my movies on one shelf. What do you guys think of my collection?

Got my first DVD, Friday the 13th, at Circuit City, and Resident Evil was my first blu ray. Been collecting for… 20 someodd years?

I’ve had to move a lot and eventually want a better shelf setup so each shelf can have one cover facing outward. I stack everything in a series behind the outward facing one to save space when needed.

I don't know if you can conclude anything from my collection. Cartoon lover perhaps?

Started collecting a few months ago- Mostly from thrift stores and a handful from marketplace/ebay.

I rotate the small display for movies my partner and I either haven’t seen yet, or are excited to watch again soon. Some double ups I plan on giving to friends

re watching this for the up-teenth time and I always get a huge kick out of it. I havent seen this DVD around very often anyone else have it?

All sealed. Spiderman was $15, otherwise the rest were under $10, some were even $3!

I spent $36 at the first shop (2nd image) and spent $39 at the second shop (3rd image).
