Sennheiser cable?

Hi, I have a 560S which I use connected to my PS5 (to the controller) but I find the original cable to long and even clipping it still bothers me. What kind of cable is this? Mini jack to jack? What is the technical name so I can search online for shorter ones like 1m would be enough.

Thank you.

Hi! Can anyone tell me why we don’t have the album name in the now playing screen or widgets? The only place I still see it is in the CarPlay. Any way to enable it in the app as well?

Hi, I bought a 560s used online and for some reason the previous owner looks like he really enjoyed using fragrance of some sort all around so my entire room is smelling to his cologne!

How do I clean the pads to remove the smell? 😂

No matter what use case I’m doing with my tv being it a movie, show or just watching the news my volume is always set between 8-15 or 20 at most.

Today I thought about this because the TV has 100 levels!! So I was wondering, do I really use it very quiet or is just that 5-15 is where most people sit anyway and the other levels are for restaurants, open spaces etc?

Just a curiosity.

For reference I have a G1 and a C2. Happens on both.

I was listening to a song through my speakers and then had to switch to headphones, and for some reason got this "insight/reflection" — listening to songs through headphones feels much better and more immersive than any speaker setup (unless you have the volume really loud, etc.).

Maybe this is just a personal preference, but with headphones I feel like I can:

- Understand/perceive sounds that I can't with speakers;

- Have a much more immersive experience (stereo separation is impossible with speakers but with headphones, because with speakers both hears listen to both channels)

- Feel more presence of the singer, more intimate.

The only advantage I can give to speakers besides the social experience when you are not alone listening, is that you can feel the sound if loud enough, and that is great. Feels wider.

Is this common amongst you?

Obrigado.

Does anyone know how to create a smart playlist based on song release date? We can see in the release data of a song in AM (there's a column for that in Mac app) which is great, so I was trying to create a smart playlist similar to what Plexamp have which is like "In this day" or something like that which basically shows up songs released on that day but on a different year.

However, I can't seem to find the "release date" option in the smart playlists.

Gosh, it feels so limited in regards to options, I feel like with AM either I just play my favorites, play some album in specific, everything in shuffle or some of "AM created playlist by them" which always include non-library stuff.

To be clear, I want to always use my library as my foundation for 99% of the cases when I listen music and ONLY use Discover etc. if I want to specific add something to my library or browse new songs. I don't want AM to mix the entire catalog with my own songs.

Coming from Plexamp I’m really used to have the album name as well as its year when playing a song visible right below the name of the song and artist.

Why such basic function doesn’t exist in AM? As well as the stars (1-5€) which Plexamp displays below the name as well.

Coming from selfhosted service to a paid one to just find out I’m getting apparently a worse experience. :(

Hi, can anyone help me figure out how we can star (1-5) rate our songs (not favorite) in the mini player on Mac or in the iOS app? I use this feature a lot in other apps and moved recently to AM. I can see I can do it in the "Big Apple Music" app on the Mac (list view), but that's not convenient at all.

I'm certain there must be an easy way to quickly rate what I am listening to.

Thanks.

Although most people find this a disadvantage, for me is the opposite. I want to actually know how much can you hear your surroundings when you have open backs such as the 560S because I have a newborn and I really feel better knowing I can hear her if something’s off.

Also when someone rings the bell etc I hate feeling “isolated” even if it is more immersive.

With that in mind, how much do you listen to your surroundings with 560S? I have an old HD202 closed back and I can’t handle the fact that it isolates completely my surroundings (passively) but enough for me to not understand what’s happening in the house — I want to avoid that. Also in terms of sound is this a major upgrade?
