I (19F) had my first kiss with a guy (20M) back in elementary school. It was his first kiss too, and we were really close at the time. Over the years he’s kind of popped in and out of my life, and we briefly talked again in high school, but nothing serious ever came from it.

Now we’re both out of high school, and recently I’ve noticed he watches my Snapchat story literally every day. He almost never misses it, and a lot of the time he’s one of the first people to view it.

The part that’s bothering me is that he has a girlfriend (I’ve seen her on his Instagram). He doesn’t message me or interact with me at all — he just consistently watches everything I post.

To me, it feels a little weird because if I were in a relationship, I wouldn’t be checking someone’s story every single day, especially someone I had history with. But I also don’t know if I’m making it into something bigger than it actually is.

Am I overthinking this, or is this actually kind of odd behavior?

Okay I might sound a little crazy but I just want some outside opinions. I’ve always been the type of person who holds onto things longer than most people. Like, I feel things really deeply and small moments end up meaning a lot to me, especially because I haven’t had a lot of relationships. So back in elementary school, I had my first kiss with this guy. It was his first kiss too. We were best friends, and we had that whole “we used to hate each other, then got close” kind of thing. One night we ended up kissing. Obviously we were kids, so it wasn’t anything serious, but it still stuck with me. I’ll be honest too — I was going through a lot at home at the time, and I definitely said/did some weird things as a kid. So part of me has always worried he probably thinks I’m crazy or something. Anyway, he’s kind of popped in and out of my life over the years. We talked again briefly in high school just to catch up. Now we’re both out of high school (I’m 19, he’s 20), and recently I’ve noticed he watches my Snapchat story literally every day. Like… he never misses it. Most of the time he’s one of the first people to view it too. The timing is sometimes random, but he still always watches. Here’s the part that confuses me: he has a girlfriend. I’ve seen her on his Instagram. So I’m just sitting here like… is this kind of weird or am I reading too much into it? If I had a boyfriend, I personally wouldn’t be checking another guy’s story every single day — especially someone I had history with, let alone my first kiss. That’s why it stands out to me. He doesn’t message me or anything, just watches everything I post. Do you think this actually means anything? Like maybe he wants to reach out but doesn’t because he has a girlfriend? Or is this just normal and I’m thinking too deeply about it? Be honest 😭

Hey, I work at HomeGoods and I have a question about attendance/coverage.

So I called out like 2 weeks ago, and I feel like I’ve had a few callouts recently (not a ton, but enough that I’m starting to worry). I have a shift coming up, and I was planning on asking if anyone could take it. If someone covers me, I won’t go, but if no one can, I’ll still go in.

I’m not trying to just call out or no-show—I always try to get coverage first.

Do managers at TJX/HomeGoods usually care about this if you’re getting your shifts covered? Or does it still count against you even if someone takes it?

Just trying to make sure I’m not gonna get in trouble or look bad. Thank

Hey everyone,

I have my first inventory shift at a TJX store (I think HomeGoods/TJ Maxx style) from 3:00am–9:30am tonight, and I’m honestly really nervous.

I have pretty bad social anxiety, and I get overwhelmed when instructions aren’t super clear or when things don’t “click” right away for me. I also really struggle with the unknown, and this is my first time doing inventory.

I was told we’ll be using a handheld scanner (I think it’s called a Digi or something like that), and I’m not really sure what the process looks like step-by-step.

If anyone has done inventory before, could you explain what it’s actually like in simple steps? Like:

•	What do you do when you first arrive?

•	How does the scanner work (what buttons you press / what you actually do)?

•	Do you just scan items and type numbers in?

•	Do they send you home at the end time or do you stay until everything is finished?

I’ve also heard mixed things like “inventory is the worst,” which is making my anxiety worse, so I guess I’m also wondering—is it actually that bad, or is it just repetitive/boring?

I’d really appreciate any reassurance or a breakdown of what the shift is like. Even small details would help a lot.

Thank you in advance.
