Therapist belittled me, should I leave immediately or bring it up?

Only the 5th session with this therapist, and he said "you have all these theories, but you aren't very in touch with yourself. I'm hearing a lot of theory but not getting enough 'meat'". I felt like he was looking down on the fact that I am quite analytical and read a lot, and putting his needs first. I felt very judged/attacked.

He also said, "You should go back and reread that book and see the case studies--the people get over their issues through getting in touch with themselves, not with theories." I felt this was very condescending and implied I have a poor understanding of the book, while his understanding is superior. The book btw is "I Don't Want to Talk About It" by Terrance Real, which I've read almost twice and he hasn't finished reading once, funny enough. His comment also didn't make much sense to me because that book is loaded with theories, and the case studies are demonstrations of the theories. Seems like a non sensical false dichotomy.

I have been feeling like absolute crap since that session. This guy looks like my dad, who all too often was shaming/condescending towards me.

Is this a leave immediately situation or a bring it up situation? My concern is he wouldn't take it well and there'd be more hurtfulness.

Also, he's a therapy intern (almost licensed), and on that 5th session he turned on a camera and explained it was to review the material with his mentor. Presumably it was on for the prior 4 sessions, but I didn't know that. Shouldn't this have been clearly communicated at the get go?

Thanks!
