Hey guys i recently became a father and I want to become the best father/boyfriend i can, I was raised by a single mom and heavily neglected so I dont really have some life concepts/skills down but being a parent isnt what worries me its not being able to give my daughter a good example of what a man is supposed to be and what she should look out for in a man.

As I am right now im nothing but a pitiful excuse for one, her mom has told me that she didn't get the pregnancy experience she wanted and that a large portion of that is because of me and she's right at the time i didn't want to be a father but it was going to happen no matter what so I kinda checked out mentally I was cold and harsh she didn't deserve any of it its awful i know i took this from her and she'llnever get it back.

Im not going to lie ive thought about taken my life plenty of times even though i wont i just I know for a fact they'll be better off without me, my girlfriend wouldve have way less worries in her plate, no more comparing, no more financial problems, no more of any of it. I dont know if this is a cry for help or not im just tired of disappointing the people around me.
