I’m addicted to customizing armor.

This game is just such a treat. The amount of armor customization options is insane. It’s so fun just setting up and customizing some armor. (We need more slots).

It’s like a virtual option of painting minis.

I’ve slept on this game for too long. I’ve had since a few months after release. But just didn’t commit much time outside the campaign. I’m not one to buy DLC often, but the armor customization is so fun I snagged a couple packs (Blood Angels, Salamanders)

Bruh remove enraged from ranged enemies or at least make them immediately try to melee once I'm close to them

one single or 2 devourer or sniper should not be a threat just because they become enraged and decide to dodge around constantly shooting instead of meleeing when I'm in their face smelling their filthy xenos breath. they should immediately try meleeing me. it's ridiculous that I have to dodge for like 6 seconds just to deal with 1 ranged majoris cause they have super armor.

Games great but...

Let us keep our talent choices after prestige. Seems a damn shame to get that last perk (that's usually something very desirable) but never get to really use it.

leveling is slow (at least for me) and I can't bring myself to not prestige a character if the option is there. Plus once I have a character at max prestige and fully levelled... Well I'm probably moving on to another class to do the same there.

So I'm definitely never going to use the last perk. Maybe it's just me and all you guys love the way it is.

Loyalist Thousand Sons

Loyalist Thousand Sons

How you holdin up today my guy, gal, or non-binary pal?

Come check out our Loyalist Thousand Sons Discord server! We're a small, tight-knit crew of Warhammer fans just tryna vibe, play the game, and dive into the lore without all the usual drama.

We've got:

Challenges and events

Lore nights talkin about Prospero's culture n stuff

Custom lore writing, original characters, homebrew relics

D&D-style campaigns set in the 42nd millennium

A chill, LGBT+ friendly safe space to make real friends through the hobby

Our current lore? One fragment of Magnus's soul came back as the Crimson King. He's out here secretly purifying his fallen sons' gene-seed and fighting a shadow war against Chaos... all while stayin loyal to the Emperor's big plan. (It's our excuse for playin Thousand Sons in Space Marine 2 lol) we run a Jedi-style apprentice system to teach newbies the lore, and we allow double-clanning since we're still growin. No power trips, no toxic people — just folks who love wizards, painting, and writin cool stories in the 40k universe.

Been in the hobby for like 15 years, ran servers before, and got tired of communities falling apart from drama and bad vibes. If you've been burned before too, come hang with us. We're tryin to build something better.

Swing by if you're down, we'd love to have ya! Even if you just wanna lurk and see the cool stuff our writers and artists been cookin up.

What kind of music do you listen to while serving the emperor?

I like to listen to all sorts of music but im a huge metalhead and space marine is metal as fuck in nature. I bounce around, I usually pick out something nasty like cannibal corpse, job for a cowboy, archspire, dying fetus, fulci, sanguisugabog, lots of heavy heavy stuff, but when I wanna slow it down a bit I feel like crowbar is just amazing and fitting for a big bulky space marine 😂. when I want to really switch up the vibe i go powerwolf for when im feeling extra zealous, or still on the lightwr but badass end somd iron maiden or metallica (one of 3 albums, and justice for all, ride rhe lightning, or master of puppets). If you like metal I would reccomend all of these for slaughtering heretics and xenon filth 🤘

What do you like to listen to? What have you found that just feels right and gets you in the zone?

Should Assault have a self-heal perk? Thoughts.

I've always found it a little odd that Assault does not have some manner of self-heal aside from bumming stims (which are damn near nonexistent on absolute difficulty). I've played the class since launch, and while I am loving the updates that were made to its kit in patch 12, I still firmly believe that Assault has been royally shafted in terms of some of the most important gameplay elements. Here is my analysis (all classes except techmarine have been leveled to Prestige IV level 25, and while I do not claim to be a god at all classes, I can at least say I understand how they function well enough to comment):

Tactical - doesn't have a self-heal, but primarily operates at range and has ammo restore out the ASS (which makes sense because the tactical is primarily a RANGED DPS).

Vanguard - Is supposed to be a skirmisher class that bobs and weaves in and out of combat, utilizing all THREE of his weapons to put pressure where it is needed most. Has not one, but TWO self-heal perks (unmatched zeal // adrenaline rush), armor restoration perks out the ass with his prestige perks, and only really suffers from difficulty restoring ammo which is mitigated somewhat depending on the weapon you're using.

Assault - Is supposed to be the melee bruiser that is good for clearing hordes with ground pound and massive melee damage to hunt elites. NO self-heal, NO ammo restore. Just... nothing.

Bulwark - Is supposed to be the tank of the team with some strong support capabilities. Massive self-heal that affects both him and the team (banner), as well as an ammo restoration perk (auxiliary reload) which procs on extremis kills.

Sniper - Is supposed to be the ranged DPS with some support capabilities. Can regenerate all his CHP and clears adverse affects with the press of a button (Purification perk), and has ammo restore out the ass with the secondary weapon kills (this also makes perfect sense - ranged DPS without much armor wouldn't do much good without ammo).

Heavy - Is supposed to be ranged DPS with some tanking capabilities. Has ammo restore (same perk as bulwark), and has support capabilities by giving teammates damage buffs, armor, and reviving people at full HP.

Techmarine - No comment atm, as I haven't played him enough to be able to give you a clear rundown.

So please, explain to me... why does every class have a clear reward (whether through self-heal or ammo restoration) for playing in the way their class is "supposed" to be played, but Assault just gets a firm pat on the shoulder and a "You go, champ!"? If anything, I would consider that Assault would make much better use of the Adrenaline Rush perk than Vanguard, considering the fact that a dedicated melee class (no primary weapon) would have much greater need of it than a class that can actively pick and choose when and where they want to engage the enemy.

If you disagree, by all means call me a filthy heretic. I'm not here to start a war - I just wanna hear other people's thoughts on the matter and whether anyone has some sort of knowledge on the subject that I lack.

Rubric Terminator Head Hitbox Smaller?

I just returned after a few months hiatus and am struggling to hit the heads of Rubric Terminators. Previously I could generally aim at the head or gorget and usually get a headshot. Now I aim at the same area and get nothing. This is especially bad since I run the Heroic Sniper Rifle and that gun is really punishing for misses.

For reference, I last played when Reclamation was released.

They really need to rework the kick system

This is more of a rant into the ether than expectation of anything.

Doing the hard daily Vortex strategem (key details, explosives are amped up on radius and damage) and failed the first run after a teammate managed to team kill me and our brother twice and getting tot he void beast at mortal wound and not being good enough to win. Annoying but we move.

Second game I'm in and I witness one teammate try to blow up the other on purpose. Later in the mission near the end and my teammate is stood right on an explosive so I ping it to warn him. He didn't move, fighting happens and the other guy blows up the explosive hurting the teammate a lot. So naturally I get kicked for it within an instance. Just like that, 20+ minutes wasted as in this game they allow vote kicks right at the end (when so many other games have figured out to not allow this).

I queue up again and it loads me back with them. I write "Man it wasn't even me who blew up the explosive" and I get kicked again.

Just frustrating that in a game where you have to commit so much time to play just one round of anything, you can get kicked for no reason. Like, I'm full health, killing things, leaving executions when I don't need them, doing objectives and none of it counts for anything. The system should really be based on more than it is imo.

Rant over. TL;DR In a strategem where explosives are deadly, I actively did nothing wrong and get punished for it

Since Techmarine Dropped And Its Been A While, What Class Would Y'all Like To See Next!

Personally, I feel like chaplains should be the next available class. Yes, I understand this may be a stretch and we might not ever see this class. BUT, I have an idea for how the chaplain would actually work as a class. Let me know what you think, let me know what youd change, and let me know your ideas for other classes!

Weapons: Personally, I feel the chaplain should have a unique weapon only HE can use. Which is why I suggest a type of warstaff or some type of holy staff. This weapon is actually how his Ability should trigger. The chaplain shouldnt have access to both a primary and secondary weapon. I dont think he would be one to use heavy weapons either. So I feel he should have secondary weapons only or smgs and smaller firearms as a primary. something like that.

Ability: His ability should be some type of spiritual war cry. Where he raises the holy staff in the air and gives out a buff to everyone. I dont think he should be a type of healer, instead I feel he should increase everyone's damage by x% for 7 seconds-ish. It can also give a thing of armor if we wanna go that far, maybe make it a gimmick where it can but you have to be close to the other players to get that extra bit of armor. Maybe give him an perk in the tree that allows the armor to come regardless of range. The point isnt to make him a healer, its to make him more of a fight harder through the pain type deal.

Let me know what you think!

Random players .

Just done the 3 normal dailies back to back with the same random brothers. Fairplay. Everyone knew their stuff. Always helpful when people ping the turrets.

it made me feel warm & fuzzy.
