A few years ago, I had a situationship with a guy that lasted way longer than it should have (around 4 years). We were never officially together, but it was intense and he constantly told me I was the only one.

I was younger and believed him, even though looking back he treated me badly and mostly only reached out for one thing only. We never even went on a date.

Eventually I got suspicious and did some insane digging. Turns out the girl he told me was just a “cousin/family friend” was actually his girlfriend the entire time ,and not casually either, they were serious (trips tg, moving in, eventually marriage).

I felt completely played, so I decided I wasn’t going to just disappear quietly. I reached out to her and told her everything, and I backed it up with proof of our conversations so she could see for herself.

Let’s just say things didn’t go very smoothly for him after that. Idk if they’re still together but basically I ruined his life that he had planned over years.

I moved on, left my hometown, and honestly forgot about him.

But recently I heard that he’s been telling people I was “obsessed” with him and spreading degrading nasty rumors about me to save face and trying to keep his image.

So instead of learning his shit he keeps saying stuff but I hope someone who knows what a liar he is would not belive him.

Looking back, he didn't treat me well at all, he ghosted me and only texted to meet up for sex, but I was in love and ignored a lot of red flags.
Last summer, I started getting suspicious and did some insane stalking. I stalked the girl he claimed was his cousin and I found out he she was his girlfriend the entire time.
From what I heard, she wasn't just casual either they were serious, even talking about marriage. I am an insane stalker and I will admit it. I find a lot which is very private .
That's when I lost the plot and I reached out to her. I explained everything and, yes, I sent her proot including chats between us, even some private/sexting messages. I sended everythin that could have hurt him and get the karma he deserved.

Since then, I've moved on. I left my hometown, met new people, and had healthier experiences with guys who actually treat me well.
BUT Today, I found out that he's been going around telling people really nasty things about me. He's saying I was insanely obsessed with him, and now he is spreading insane rumours about me like that my pussy smells bad and stupid immature shit like that
That's what's really getting to me, because after everything he did, he's now trying to make me look crazy or disgusting to protect himself and save his "mature Arab men" image. He always was very mysterious and never told anyone about his life and then I came and ended him lowkey.
At I a bitch for exposing him, and is this just his ego being hurt and trying to get back at me?
And how would you deal with someone spreading rumors like this?
