Well, it's the end of the school year as many of you who saw in my previous posts, I keep my figures in my school office. With school coming to an end we are required to clean our rooms take everything off the walls and remove all personal property. This is my first year with the sentinels and my collection grew from 40 figures to almost 90. Previously everything went back into its original packaging and I re posed everything off detailed pictures. With 40 figures it took so long and I'm afraid I'll never get the sentinels back into the right poses. So, I came up with a radical idea. I've never tried it and hope it works. My hope is to protect everything but leave it in the poses they are in requiring significantly less time to set up. As I said I've never done this before and I'm terrified. Pray for me this works. Well find out together in late July when I get my keys.... Full photo at the end for reference

So I'm a crazy mofo who needs some BAMF advice....
This has to come down next week but it will go back up in late July. With a week to go, naturally I decided to add a BAMF! I'm trying to decide if it works visually if it's the right height and which location is best. If you see nightcrawler in the picture he's holding the 97 archangels spot (he'll be attacking the sentinel going after Besty...). So Nightcrawler will need a new home in July. Ideally I'd like him ripping out of the BAMF! With dual swords, I have yet to find/aquire them despite looking on eBay for the correct style sword. I have the first spot, above beast. This is more stable and the platform rests on the Sentinels back. The second option is filling the space behind psylocke. This is less stable but fills a visual hole. I will say while I'm not sold on behind beast, it holds the pillar holding it up better. It is possible it doesn't work in either place. Everything in the display is tuned to my office seat. Both spots seem ok. But I just can't decide. Anyone willing to offer thoughts? If you say spot 1 I will assume behind beast, spot 2 behind psylocke.

I've been lucky to get people to respond to my DMs on here, but most message a few times and stop. I'm hoping by putting myself out there on here more, it's easier to find what I'm looking for. I really want a consistent chat partner open to talking about anything. A lot of small talk occurs in the beginning as I feel someone out, but in time no topics are considered off the table if organic and mutual. I would describe myself as having an excess of personality. I beat to my own drum and people in my life just sort of laugh and shrug me off as me doing me things. I'm a Slytherin. I love comics especially the X-Men. I have built a shrine to Thier awesomeness on my work office. Ask to see pictures and you'll see what I mean by having an excess of personality. I am well educated with a degree in history and masters in a related (purposefully unspecified) field. I love word play and can carry conversations over very long periods. I find nearly everyone interesting and the conversation always die when the other person doesn't respond. I'd chat forever about whatever. I've been accused of being a Disney adult, and I suppose they're right but only because Disney parks scratch a personal intellectual itch. Understanding the logistics and mechanical function of things. It satisfies elements of my deeply curious nature. I'm also a U.S. Supreme Court nerd in Term is about to close which means decisions. I love a wide variety of music mainly in the classic rock old school metal realm and am versed well in film. Would love to trade movie suggestions. Really I'm just looking for someone as equally bored and open minded as me. I don't really care how old you are as long as you're over 18 and willing to engage in thoughtful sustained conversation. I can't believe I have to say this but half my interactions have ended with links to OF. I am not interested, so those seeking to advertise need not DM. Those who do will be met with salty savage messages.

I get to brag and say my office is one of the most magical places outside of Disney parks. All four walls are adorned with a total of 243 Disney parks posters custom printed to match the old Disney parks poster calendars. Years of visits have left me with trinkets and treasures galore. My cabinets(not pictured here) include a near full set of Larry Dodson Prints. I love my work space...
Here is my epic Sentinel Battle display in my work office. It is composed mostly of x men 97 figures but I've swapped out some heads and included some comic versions of figures to fill it out. I have also included a close up of my season finale display. Hasbro better not cop out and finish who we need in those costumes: we need rogue, cable, morph, forge and Bastion. I invested in duplicates of these figures hedging my bets they would fill it out. I'll never forgive them If they don't! The last one of auclops.waanmu original pose for him, but it put too much stress on the sentinels blaster bean and i feared it would result in permanent bending. Still a very cool perspective.
Though not the usual thing seen on here, many of the dynamic poses I've worked to create here are within the bounds of what I see on here. This display sits in my work office and I am very proud of it. My whole display is in more dynamic poses. I am most proud of wolverine, psylocke and Colossus in terms of poses. I am eager to replace nightcrawlers spot with archangel as soon as he ships. Nightcrawler will be relocated on the other opposite side of cyclops. The final cyclops photo was my first pose but I did not feel comfortable leaving it that way long term as there as a alot of stress on the large beam effect in terms of weight and i did not want it warping over time.
I have built a really cool x men display in my work office. One of the figures and poses I am most proud of is my gamer verse psylocke. These figures were very hard to secure preselling out on targets website in 2 minutes I landed two before they sold out and did not have to pay above initial retail. This post was very difficult to achieve in terms of balance so the figure doesn't fall off. There is some tricky at play hidden by the angle of the picture but hands down one of the most dynamic exciting poses in my display. My second is in my incomplete Jim Lee Blue/gold display being he usual self. Long live the badassery of Betsy Braddock.

Added the next figures of 2026, six total. Two astonishing Kitty and Colossus' (one set with my Astonishing X Men annoyed with Scott and Logan arguing, just missing the old Emma, and one set in my Epic Sentinel Battle- a poor attempt at Kitty phasing and Colossus knocking one down), A King Pin reissue turned into a shadow king with my second genesis display, and Nimrod. I have three Archangels on pre order waiting to come in stock (one for my Jim Lee display, one with Apocalypse and one taking nightcrawlers place to save Psylocke). This display lives in my work office which is shutting down for the season soon. This will need to be packed away in two weeks and then reset up in late July. I was really hoping Archangel would make it before the year down. For anyone interested additional pictures can be found by searching Epic Sentinel Battle and For those Interested. I just wanted to show the additions. Contemplating a third set of Colossus and Kitty to put Colossus in my Jim Lee Display (annoying because I hate he does t have his classic boots and embellished shoulder pads, don't love the old figure in the Juggernaut two pack, this one is wayyyyy better and then a kitty to rip apart for pieces to maybe make a more convincing phase).
