Pretty much the post title. Going back into Star Wars I started noticing some Xenomorph influence especially in the TCW Season 2 episodes centered on Geonosis. The brainworms seem to be linked to Queen Karina via the hive mind and if there was an intended Xenomorph influence is it possible they serve a purpose similar to facehuggers or chestbursters in Alien? My guess is that they could be a larval form that resides inside the dead, feeding off it and using it to gather nutrients until it pupates. Absolutely horrifying and disgusting but an interesting hypothesis. One that I think we’re unlikely to get an answer to anytime soon.
One of my favorite maps to do this is Rough Landing. I like seeing how long I can keep the game of hide and seek up. I’ll try to make some noise, just enough to get the invaders attention, find a good hiding spot nearby, and wait until I see the invader appear. I then quietly reposition to another part of the map using all the side paths, bushes, shadows, and stuff to keep myself hidden. When I get to my new position I start the harassment again. I find it fun. I don’t try to kill them or anything most times, I kinda just treat it like catch and release fishing. I think the longest I kept this up was forty minutes.
