Behavior (unsocialized, when approached in kennel starts growling, steps back avoiding handler when attempting to leash, starts thrashing when muzzled, cover face and carry to kennel

dog was in the kennel and when i approched dog began to be vocal growled and as i tried to reach for him with baby

talking he stepped back had to leash and as i tried to muzzle couldnt were pup was thrashign and as i covered his face i

carried her to a new kennel.

once she saw me. Came up to food bin to eat kibble at some point as it was all eaten by the time I passed again during

screaming and biting the bars, but stopped and gave hard stare whenever I passed in front of her.

After treatment with Terramycin ointment, the infection and discharge resolved, but veterinarians noted severe entropion in her right eye — a condition where the eyelid rolls inward and irritates the eye. BARC is recommending follow-up care with a private veterinarian for corrective surgery. She has also been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and given Bordetella and rabies vaccines.

He is currently on doxycycline (150mg SID x10 days) and has been monitored under treatment protocols. Both dogs were described as “skin and bones” and had reportedly not eaten in at least two weeks. They have received vaccines, deworming treatment, parasite prevention, and ongoing Panacur treatment.
