🐾🍼 Meet 15 week old puppy Peggy
ID #A2069099
15-week-old German Shepherd puppy • Female • 18 lbs
spayed on 4/29/26
Intake Date: 4/17/2026
⸻
Medical notes:
Baby Peggy came into the shelter after an owner-requested euthanasia intake and urgently needs a safe place to grow up. She has already been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and started on treatment for an upper respiratory infection after developing a cough. Despite being only a tiny puppy, Peggy has already spent nearly a month in the stressful shelter environment.
⸻
Behavior notes:
Peggy is a shy, sensitive puppy who warms up with patience and gentle encouragement. Staff describe her as having a wiggly body, wagging tail, and “smiling” face once she feels safe. She loves treats, plush toys, and baby talk, and she will slowly crawl over for pets before bouncing around happily and licking hands. The shelter can still overwhelm her at times, causing her to retreat or avoid eye contact, but her notes consistently show a sweet puppy trying hard to trust people and come out of her shell.
