Did NG+ overwrite my old save and remove Challenge mode?

I finished Black Myth: Wukong and first selected “Continue Journey”. The game spawned me at Peak of Innocence and the shrine had the new Challenge option.

Then I selected “Enter a New Cycle” because I thought I could keep 2 saves:

  • one pre-final-boss save for Challenge mode
  • one NG+ save

But now I only have the NG+ save and the Challenge option is gone from shrines.

Is this normal?
Can I get the Challenge option back in NG+?

Hey everyone,

I’m a 1st year BTech student and in one of our subjects we’re learning Autodesk Fusion. We recently got a project where we have to design an innovative model/product that solves a real-life problem and present it in class.

The project can be mechanical, smart-device based, simple automation related, student utility, safety system, etc.

Main focus is:

Problem solving

Creativity/innovation

Good 3D modeling in Fusion 360

I’m looking for ideas that are:

Beginner/intermediate friendly

Actually practical

Cool enough for presentation/demo

Would really appreciate any project suggestions, concepts, or even examples of projects you’ve made before 🙏

I am facing a serious overheating issue with my HP Omen laptop, and my experience with HP support has been extremely frustrating.

Here is everything that has happened step by step:

I initially contacted HP support regarding high CPU temperatures (around 95°C during gaming).

A support agent checked my system and asked me to:

Load default BIOS settings

Update drivers

Update BIOS

The agent even sent me an incorrect BIOS update link initially, which was not compatible.

Later, a correct BIOS update was shared.

I was told I would receive a callback, but:

❌ No callback came

❌ No proper follow-up

Then I contacted support again via WhatsApp.

They made me perform multiple steps:

Enter UEFI diagnostics

Run system tests

Fan speed test → PASSED

Fan thermal test → CPU temperature too high

This clearly indicates a thermal (hardware) issue.

Despite this, they continued asking me to:

Run more diagnostics

Use HP Support Assistant

Perform system optimization

They even asked me to:

Clear browser history, cookies, cache

Empty recycle bin

Run system file checker (30+ mins)

👉 These steps are not related to overheating.

I clearly told them:

I have already spent hours since afternoon

I cannot continue unnecessary troubleshooting

The issue needs cleaning and thermal repasting

I requested an on-site technician visit under warranty, but:

They kept delaying

Kept repeating troubleshooting steps

Did not confirm technician visit

At times, they even stopped replying for long periods.

Main Issue:

This is clearly a hardware thermal issue, but HP support keeps pushing irrelevant software steps instead of providing actual service.

📢 Concern:

Why is a customer under warranty forced to spend hours on unnecessary troubleshooting when the issue is already identified?

⚠️ TL;DR:

Laptop overheating (95°C), HP support made me do hours of useless troubleshooting (including clearing cookies & system cleanup), didn’t call back, delayed response, and still not arranging technician for a clear hardware issue.
