How big is Yu-Gi-Oh! in your country?

We all know Yu-Gi-Oh! is the most popular in Japan, but what other countries out there have the most fans?

As a brazilian kid, the anime used to be shown on TV Globinho, the primetime kids TV for YEARS. It was such a huge phenomenon that it would often get used as an example of "kids summoning the devil" as a kind of satanist scare, and was often banned in schools (which only made it more popular). I would say its decline started at the beginning of the GX era -- we only saw the first season of GX on primetime TV, then it was only available on paid channels which most kids don't have access to. The 5Ds era onwards never caught on.

Nowadays, most people over the age of 25 recognize the classic cards, but kids 20 or less don't know anything about it at all.

How big is YGO in your country, and what's your personal experience with it?

I just edited a new trailer for my Yu-Gi-Oh! inspired roguelike, what do you think?

I'm working on a roguelike deckbuilder called Soulsworn. It's inspired by the single-player YGO classics such as Forbidden Memories, Tag Force, and World Championship series on the GBA.

Any feedback is very appreciated!

Looking for honest feedback: is this draft screen intuitive?

I'm working on Soulsworn, a YGO-inspired roguelike deckbuilder, and I'm looking for honest feedback on this screen. It's the first screen players see when they start the game, and they need to draft their deck without even knowing what the rules of the game are.

Players would get really confused (especially ppl who never played a card game before), so I redesigned this section from scratch. I added a short introductory video showing each card being played, help text for in-game terms (like "Stunned"), and a preview showing each fusion that the card can make.

Is this good enough in your opinion? What would you change, if anything?

Does anyone know some artists with a similar art style to Yu-Gi-Oh?

I'm working on a Yu-Gi-Oh inspired roguelike, and I'm looking to commission some high quality art for cards in the same iconic YGO artstyle (anime/fantasy/sci-fi).

I mostly want to create cards that are homages to YGO's history, but adapting them to my own setting. Since the game is about recruiting a rebellion to escape out of hell, it would have a lot of demons / fiends / knights / etc, but also want to have variety so anime girls like Sky Strikers (in a more medieval setting) would be welcomed too.

Does anyone know any artists on Twitter or elsewhere that would accept commissions?

EDIT: Please don't message me if you're an AI """artist"""
