me personally, I'm tied between the PSP game or the next numbered entry. A Sony move would probably be to add the PSP game as their pick to next.

What is one thing you like/love about Wild Arms (1), whether it's a strength the game has or a personal preference you're attracted to?

I wonder what the number one reason this game is considered the black sheep of the series? I’m guessing it’s the change in battle system? Regardless I’m excited to see how I feel about it myself, actually playing the game for the first time
Freaking loved the Wild Arms 1&2 that I’ve finished so if it gives me just some of those feels I think I’ll be in for a good time.

Have you played this one or any in the series?
What’s your favorite entry if you have?

Wild arms two damage question

So I’m leveling up to 100 just cause I can and I noticed I went from level 96 to 97 with Ashley and when I did he went from 6k damage to 3k. Any idea why that would happen? It’s all his attacks too. Normal in and out of access were halved even banished and last resort were halved.

Edit maybe I’m wrong Idk how it’s calculated. My strength is in the 500s. I read access adds 80% and for the parameter up skill is an extra 9% per force level. Making over a 100% more too would that be an issue if I went over 1000 strength since 999 is the max?

Started working on a series of maps for WA1 using some tools I wrote to make stitching emulator screenshots easier. I can't share a gallery on this sub, but here is Adlehyde and the Ruin Festival! going to (slowly) map out the whole first game, got through Milama so far.

In my experience, this has been the hardest map to figure out.

There are a lot of random encounters that distract you from your path. It took me a few hours to realize that the lamps control every platform in the dungeon, not just a specific one.

After going through a map (like map 3, for example), it’s not clear that you’ve only completed half of it, and that you need to come back later to finish it (BUT FROM WHICH PATH???).

After so many questions and frustrations, I decided to draw the map in a notebook. When I realized the notebook wasn’t enough, I opened Miro and started drawing every single room, bridge, map number, where each door leads, platform colors, etc.

So, this is the result. Sorry about the image quality, but I’m not going to pay for Miro just to export a high-resolution image.

Spoiler: Despite the time I spent on this, I >!reached level 100 (the maximum level) with all characters!<.

I just finished Wild Arms 5 today, and I’ll post a review in the future. But not now, because I’m crying like a kid.

Good night.

Been Struggling to find Lo-fi beats to old JRPGs I loved growing up so I decided to start making some. Check out my Wild Arms Study Lofi.

Just obtained the platinum for WA2 on PS5 and have been mulling over the ending. I’m not sure if this game can be considered better than the first game given the plot sort of derails after defeating Odessa (also yet to play 3 and 4 on PSN).

I was on the bridge leading to the airfield near endgame and had 90k+ gella, ran away once from some OP man ape enemy and then noticed much later that I now had about 20k gella. Are you supposed to lose that much from running away once, was this a bug or did something else cause me lose it?

Hello, I'm following a guide to try and get everything. It says in Wunderweltraum, there are 3 enemy types and I haven't been able to find this "Dalawa Bunny". I have also read it isn't in the NA version of the PS2 version. Do we know if it's been restored in this version, or am I free to continue on? Thank you.
