Will walmart fire you for smoking Marijuana even if its legal in your state?

Now obviously I don't mean lighting up a joint at work, but if you do it at home, and they drug test you, will they fire you even though its legal in your state and city?

Sometimes I really hate our customers.

We're getting tired of having to clean up after people and change out the digital tags. We hung up paper tray liners for them to spray on, but I swear that they're just doing this to damage stuff.

The new app

It is killing my battery. Not just mine. Everyone at my store is having issues. I was finishing the night with 70% battery. Today my phone died. Something needs to change.

Lacking a Work Phone

I just got a ‘verbal warning’ for being on my phone on the sales floor.. even though I have to use my phone for work because they’ve failed to give me a work phone for over eight months. One of the members of management has started giving me things to do like finding the upc for items that get returned to us (I work in electronics in a small store so there’s barely anything to do) and the coach that came by to give me this warning (not in private) said some manager said something over the radio about me being on it more often.

Either give me a work phone, don’t give me more stuff to do that requires my phone to do it, or don’t complain about me.. how is me doing the work you gave me my fault? I’ve never had a complaint about this before they gave me more phone related stuff to do, because I haven’t been using it for non-work related things and I get my tasks done. I keep asking for a phone and everyone else in my area has one but I’ve never received one.

Our manager is telling us cashiers to allow scalpers to go past the 5 item limit for trading cards

Basically we co confinscated some 40 packs from a guy regular scalper he complained he was "harassed" he knows the rules and now they want to just allow it even though there is a policy for it he's doing this because it's technically not his product and it's the vendors

Bro gonna become ap coach zay 2.0

How do I read the lot numbers to figure out how the expiration date?

Going through our top stock, I've been trying to figure out what the expiration date is for these candy wafers. I've looked online and I can't really find anything. So going based off the lot numbers, do I read it as yy-day-date or day-date-yy?

Buying a misplaced item?

Hi I just want to know the proper way to go about it and not get in trouble? I work nights.

Today like 30 mins before my shift ended I found a plushie on sale in the candy aisle I was zoning as I finished the zone. I grabbed it and put it back in the toy aisle where those plushies usually go. Then when I clocked out I bought it. But I still feel like I did something wrong. Like leaving my area to go put back something I know I was gonna buy is still wasting company time? Is there a right way to go about doing things like this? Or should I just have waited a day to see if it was still there?

Sorry for the stupid question, I just want to be safe from awkward coachings over silly stuff like that lol.

BYOD enrollment blocked

I’ve tried to enroll my Galaxy S26 Ultra and OnePlus 15 with Intelligent Hub for the BYOD program. I’ve done this on a iPhone 16 but it shows this on both of these phones. Is it because they are too new?

Cucked by a DA

So almost a year ago I got a red DA(i deserved it i made an insensitive joke) and now it has come to haunt me. I've been waiting 4 months for a promotion and I just talked to our HR lady and she was not helpful telling me if I can still get promoted or if i have to wait till June. Ima talk to my coach tomorrow and see what she says but if I gotta wait till June ima die. Any advice?

I have to call ethics on a team lead

This really sucks and it came out of nowhere but I am all the sudden being harassed by a team lead. I'm not going into details but I have never called ethics on anyone. Have any of you dealt with this before? Does calling ethics actually do anything? it's actually tough to talk about. Do you speak to an actual person when calling that number?
