Switched up my RP built, 1675, to go with a leather strap. This time of year, the leather feels nice. What’s everyone rocking today?
BABY PLOPROF GRAIL PROJECT:
Wanting to gauge some interest on what the Team and I already started work on.
The Baby Ploprof.
We were thinking about making 5-10 of these but wanted to see if others were Baby Ploprof fans too.
Pic 1 is the inspiration, 2,3,4 are the actual bracelet we already created.
This was the hardest part and it’s done. Metal work here was no joke.
so…
Bracelet ✅
Hands ✅
Case ✅
Crown ✅
- Dial is fully designed and about to be printed
- Got a line on a few 1010/1012 gen movements (example of their movements in pic 5)
Also, trying to keep the costs low on this one by using some WD donor parts.

My favorite thing about the Tudor 79090 Submariner is the fact it was rocking that Vintage Acrylic crystal until 1995, long after when Rolex Subs went with the more modern flat sapphire in the late 70’s.
These two have gen Tudor 2824 heartbeats, gen 703 crown, startime tubes, Clark’s crystals (requires retaining ring mod), Yuki hands, Athaya pip, viet cases & dials.
And both with a creamy/pearl aged tone on the markers & in the pip to match.
Need to do some light metalwork still. But wanted to share as I don’t often have a completed Blue & Black 79090 side by side.
Another masterpiece by u/RodneyPierce. I made it a pain in the ass by buying random gen parts I liked. He took those, sprinkled his magic dust, and voila! 16803 Nipple dial.
Gen dial, gen insert, gen crown, gen crystal, gen clasp
EWP bezel assembly, 10k oyster
HCV case
Took a VJ72 from this Brooks Brothers chronograph from the 40s.
Nothing like the dial fitting like a glove and not having modify anything
Look how purty she is - Now I need some hands and we good to go!
Beautiful piece of art by u/Ghost_Chrono, I'm really enjoying the watch, this is my first vintage rep, but surely won't be my last one. 🫐
🔷CARTIER OCEAN PEARL GMT PROJECT:
LIMITED EDITION - 5 Timepieces
Procured some incredible Mother of Pearl that nails the undulating waves effect perfectly. 🤌🌊🤌
We’ve successfully cut these into dials (pic 2) and have created the white gold surrounds for the blue sapphire hour markers (pic 3). 🚀
Working next on cutting the created blue sapphire for these. Not easy at all as they have to match gen spec serti gems.
The rest of the pics are renderings to show its intended final form. 🔷
More updates to come. This is a series limited to only 5. After that, there will be no more made.
🔷🔷There may still be 2 left, please feel free to DM me if interested.

The Pre-Daytona is a model that gets a huge amount of attention, This dial developed a very unusual texture whether from an accident or a failed experiment that maybe wasn’t such a failure after all. The result is a surface covered in tiny bubbles, giving the watch an incredibly unique vintage effect call frozen dial, common in submarine dials and similars, It’s definitely something you either love or hate… personally, I love it.
I also used the thin stick seconds hand commonly seen on early Pre-Daytona and Daytona models, along with a short chrono hand to keep the proportions period-correct.
Enjoy!
Created this for a special customer using an insanely difficult process to get this level of clarity and crispness. Truly understand now why real gilt printing like this is an almost completely lost art.
I’m looking for a Watch case for the 214 270 does anybody know a good place to buy it? it’s a 39 mm case but I will do it 36 if I have to.
Hey everyone! I’m here posting an interest check for the carree so if you’re interested fill out this form!
If there’s enough interest then there would be a small production of the all steel model 2960 in the near future, but the timeline isn’t set yet. There could also be an all gold version in the future but that would have its own interest check. Once we gauge the interest on this all steel version we will report back. Thanks guys!
Sharing for what is coming soon and thanks for following/support!
A few have asked if I ever sell it and here is your chance. This watch started as a Yodog build with the following upgrades
Movement - Swiss ETA 2836 with H6 pinions installed regulated and pressure tested by Jumpy ( $400)
Gen Crystal- $250 - installed by Clark
Gen Insert Flat 4- $460
Base Yodog build -$1500
Gen crown
MQ MK1 “Long E” dial
Yodog custom date wheel open 6/9
Custom hands and tiger concept gmt hand
Raffles oyster
Optional- gen jubilee bracelet (stretched but functional) $350
Total into it: $2960
Selling for $2800 with gen jubilee bracelet / $2500 with Raffles one.
Zelle, PayPal accepted for payment.
A build of love but making room for other projects.
Note: while the dial is perfectly aligned, the date at 25 through 29 is a little high. Jumpy mentioned that is a common issue but Yodogs are normally the best. Just being completely transparent. See pic example
Serious buyers only pls, I’m ok keeping it otherwise .
The people’s champion? Maybe.
My personal favorite? Without question.
These three pieces came out exactly how I wanted correct proportions, correct thickness, and crystal height around 13.5mm depending on the Tropic fitment, but all three wear incredibly consistent. That balance is not easy to achieve.
Specs:
JKF base watch
Case aged and fully reshaped to fit the Viet bezel and achieve a proper ~13.5mm overall thickness
Movement modified to fit the Valjoux-spec Big Red dial
Triplock crown and tube
New Tropic 21 plexi crystal
Viet 7205 rivet bracelet
Every single aspect of these watches was carefully reworked, aged, adjusted, and assembled to achieve the most accurate result possible while keeping the spirit of the originals alive.
On this dial I wanted to replicate the patina and aging I saw on a gen one. Not homogeneous texture and few darker spots on subdials and hands, as well as on lumedots!
I nailed it! 😝😝😝 I really love this kind of aging!
Case and bezel will need some more aging and refining as well 😊
Daytona 6239 Paul Newman reverse solo (st19 build)
Specs:
Custom case
Modded st19
Custom dial with gen coronet logo
VJ style hands
HQ Aftermarket plexiglass, tube and crown (will probably change with gen)
Rivet bracelet 7205 with 71 endlinks
ENJOY ☺️😉✌️
Definitely not perfect. Had to order new movement clamps and I swirl marked the dial by setting the hour hand too low. Next one will be better
