[Seiko marinemaster sje101] Decisions were made.
After the latest wave of hype around the Longines HydroConquest which is a beautiful piece I went to a local store to try the 39mm version. But honestly, the 48mm lug-to-lug just feels too long. For a 39mm watch, 46mm L2L should be the sweet spot.
So I decided to go in a different direction and picked up the Marinemaster SJE101, which in my opinion is the perfect Seiko diver. I know the retail price is a bit wild, but I managed to grab a brand new one on eBay for $2,200, so I’m more than happy with that.
That completes my perfect Seiko trio. This one takes the place of my SPB317, which now needs a new home. I’ll be posting the trio soon curious to hear your thoughts on the decision.
