Whew! Final form. 😮‍💨 Ridiculous time and money went into this to this grail project to get it right. Not quite as bad as what a gen dial goes for: $12k 🙀 (pic 2) or the gen watch…$52k. 🤯

Full transparency, this passion project took over a year to get right and a crazy investment of money and time to do it, so…

I’m going to create just a few limited edition custom builds to offset just a little of that. So if you’d like to get one of these incredible builds on your wrist…

Unfortunately, I can’t take credit for this one. All I did was buy it 😂.

I know Happy Cat Vintage has been messing around, trying to get this GILT DIAL process nailed down by special request! 😇

And I’d say…they got it! 🚀🚀🚀

First pic is a gen 1967 Gilt Dial 5512 Sub. that I’m going to build for the winner using the HCV GILT DIAL.

Second pic is the dial. Pic quality isn’t great, but the dial is.

This blue purple (Blurple) 1680 gold nipple dial was nearly impossible for us to produce. And even harder to capture on camera. some angles are blueish others purplish.

But here’s the fruit of a year of labor. Changing up a couple last minute things on this and will post more pics soon when done but just wanted to post a progress note. Second pic is the inspiration. Thanks to my team for continuing to work over another weekend with me to get this perfected.

Multiple versions of this on the way with various reference numbers to cover the whole Blurple dial era.
