Ask ko lang sana:
• Mas okay ba na mag-email agad sa bank to request restructuring/reconstruct program kahit hindi pa overdue?
• Or may naka-experience ba na hinintay muna maging overdue bago mas mabigyan ng better offer?
• Kumusta yung naging terms niyo (monthly, interest, etc.)?
Gusto ko sana ma-handle ito properly and hindi takbuhan yung obligation, pero gusto ko rin maging realistic sa kaya kong bayaran.

I was actively gambling total lost siguro nasa 2M since I decided to stop last week. Naubos na ko, yung dopamine di ko kayang pigilan. Alam ko talo ko in the end pero parang may sariling utak ang kamay ko. Lost everything my business napabayaan ko nalugi. Savings, gold and car gone.

I decided to stop I don’t want to turn 30 na sugarol. Nasayang ko na ang 9years ng buhay ko due to gambling. Nag papatherapy na din ako at umaatend ng zoom meetings.
What I did is nag loan ako sa bank bago pa ma OD ang mga loans ko at maka affect sa credit score ko. I loaned sa china bank ng 1M then binayaran ko lahat ng utang ko para isa nalang ang iintindihin ko.
Did I do the right thing? Na I conso ang loan ko into one?

For context, I have a pending salary loan in RCBC and I’m 50% paid already. It is being auto-deducted kada sahod but sa last kong sahod, may malaking kinaltas yung company sa payroll kaya from supposedly 4000 na sahod sana, 1600 na lang. Hi everyone, I really need advice.
I recently received my final pay in my payroll account with BDO, which I had been waiting for almost a month. But when it was finally credited, BDO immediately took the entire amount through a deposit set-off.
Now I’m left with zero balance.
For context:
- I am currently unemployed
- This was my only remaining money
- I support a family of 8, and this was supposed to cover our basic needs (food, transportation, etc.)
I understand I have obligations, and I’m not trying to run away from them. But taking 100% of my final pay without leaving anything has left us with literally no means to survive right now.
My questions:
- Can I still get it back?
- Has anyone experienced this with BDO or other banks?
- Is this even allowed, especially for a payroll account?
- Is there anything else I can do to escalate this?
Any advice, similar experiences, or guidance would really help. I’m honestly in a very difficult situation right now.

This journey started last year, 2025 when I was no longer keep up to pay my bills. Kahit minimum due di ko na kaya. Akala ko kaya ko malagpasan dahil sa sahod ko na ₱60,000 anf lagi ako naggrant-an ng loan.. di ko namalayan na tapal system na ginagawa ko and mas lalo akong nalubog.
My cards were used due to excessive travel. Travel ang naging outlet ko para ma-heal or makalimutan mga problema dahil sa cheating ng husband ko. — ito talaga di ko hinayaan na matagalang OD kasi yung EW Home Loan namin nandito so pag naooverdue ako, nagseset off sila sa pambayad ng bahay namin and ayoko mawalan ng pambayad sa bahay so grabe ang manalig ko na ma-approve dito.
Medyo may katagalan pero tiyaga lang talaga.
