How can I remove all on-screen text (except the date) from this capture?

I captured this video from an old camcorder using a video capture card connected to my phone via cables. The recording shows all the camcorder’s on-screen display.

I want to remove everything except the date at the bottom. Is there any software that can do this reliably?

I know the OSD is burned into the recorded video, so I’m not expecting a perfect result, but maybe some method based on masking, interpolation, or even AI inpainting?

Thanks for any tips!

Was trying to mount my trv22 to a rig I had setup and accidentally tightened things a little too hard. Ive tried using pliers but they tear into the screw and I cant get any traction

Hey, I have a PD170, and I want to convert it into tapeless since digitalizing tapes is pretty time consuming for me. I need some recomendations on what tapeless recorder should I look for, I can't spend a lot of money on it but it also can't have a huge image quality loss. I'm also gonna use it to film skiing movies so it would be great if it recorded straight to an sd card.

hi! a few weeks ago i asked for help on how to go tapeless on my sony tr22e and got very nice comments on how to :)
just wanted to show that, after all, i didnt have to buy anything new.

the av to rca cable came with the camera, rca to usb i had to buy it last year to "record" my tapes when i was trying that and i had usb to usb c aroud. everything was attached using garden wire.

im also using an old android phone and a mount i bought a few years ago for my car but didnt work!
it isnt perfect but i think i will use it a lot more than i did and it is a little heavy but very manageable.

my only question: right now, when a few minutes go by, the camera turns down to save energy (cause im technically not recording). this is not a big issue for me but im wondering if there is a way to keep it on?
thanks !

Hi there!

Im having an absolute nightmare and hoping for some help. I installed a firewire PCIE to my motherboard to digitalise some old cassette tapes, theres about 30 hours of footage.

I successfully get windows 11 to register the pcie card, and the camera however I cant get any software to detect it. I did briefly get screenalyzer to detect it and it was working after 8 hours of troubleshooting, but then lost it again after 2 mins as I had to relaunch the software.

Please any advice? Ill pay for consultation fees at this point 😂😭
