How can I remove all on-screen text (except the date) from this capture?

I captured this video from an old camcorder using a video capture card connected to my phone via cables. The recording shows all the camcorder’s on-screen display.

I want to remove everything except the date at the bottom. Is there any software that can do this reliably?

I know the OSD is burned into the recorded video, so I’m not expecting a perfect result, but maybe some method based on masking, interpolation, or even AI inpainting?

Hi, I've been trying to make my Canon MV790 tapeless and decided to connect it to my phone using a video capture card. I get a picture, but it's completely black; you can just make out the outlines. I've tried adjusting the USB camera settings, but that didn't help. Does anyone know a solution?
