When do you think Wesker lost it?

When did wesker go from evil scientist to "total global saturation" super villain. Did he lose it sometime in the past or did he never have "it" to begin with?

This is a joke right? Grace needs help to solve this? Is it not like 6 possibilities on total?

1-1-2-3 / 1-1-3-2 / 2-2-1-3 / 2-2-3-1 / 3-3-1-2 / 3-3-2-1

If the machine had a safety against guessing or like 10-15 buttons to give thousands of possibilities I would understand, but like this I don't understand some of the decisions of the game writing.

Edit: In this same room there is a note giving the code away, in my case it was Sun-Sun-Moon-Star, this is why it would take 6 combinations to solve it.

The lakers are canon in the resident evil universe

(excuse the crass photo taken on my phone, i cant take a screenshot on the steam version.)

Just made a discovery, I walked past this area in the briefing room so many times but never noticed this poster, while the photo i linked in the 2nd slide isn’t 100% accurate to the one shown in game, its similar enough in composition to assume its kobe against orlando magic in 1998 lol which would mean, the lakers, and by association, Shaq and Kobe are officially canon in resident evil

So while we're expecting RE9's DLC to reveal who Leon married, imagine if they never do and instead he casually quips "Not as bad as my FIRST WIFE!" implying he divorced someone and RE-MARRIED? The fandom would explode.

[Gamesradar] The clip of Resident Evil 2's Ada Wong actor teasing the characters return is a dud, as it actually surfaced from a fan's Cameo request

So it wasn’t because of Arachnophobia?

It was speculated that Capcom removed the spiders from the RE2 Remake due to the issue of arachnophobia effecting players.

I guess that would hold still true if they didn’t add a giant spider with hordes of spawn to RE9. Also, no arachnophobia feature either.

I’m not sure why we couldn’t have the spiders in RE2R but then we get one in RE9. I heard somewhere it was pretty difficult to animate spiders so maybe that’s the reason.

Still, since the new installments seem to be following the Remake games’ lore (hence the RE2R flashbacks in RE9), it doesn’t even make sense that there are spiders in Raccoon City.

Following this logic, if spiders weren’t there in RE2R then they theoretically shouldn’t be there in RE9.

I’m not even afraid of spiders but I really don’t see the use in adding a random spider boss to RE9 when they didn’t include them the first time around.

Honestly, I feel like the spider was only added to make Leon’s part somewhat scary after following up with Grace’s sections.

Finished my first Resident Evil game … and my first horror game in general! Now mentally preparing for RE2 😅

The first few hours were really nerve-racking as a horror newbie, but by the end I was having a ton of fun! Although the achievement for finishing the game on easiest difficulty stung a little.. And the stats don’t lie either 🥲

Regardless, next up: RE2 Remake. And I have no idea what to expect!

Raccoon City [Post Requiem Exploration]

Hey everyone! After wrapping up RE9, I went back through the remakes to finally make sense of Raccoon City's geography.

Based on the lore that Eastern Raccoon City sits 15 miles from the city center, I’ve calculated that downtown spans roughly 2.5 to 3 miles across.

The Remake maps play fast and loose with legacy locations, often contradicting earlier games. I’m currently deep in the (likely futile) effort of cross-referencing every title to build the most lore-accurate map possible based on the newest information. I am using REFramework to fly around as well.

I’m designing a Tabletop RPG adventure! The plan is to lead a group of survivors through an escape from the city, heavily inspired by the Outbreak series.

Would love to hear any thoughts on city landmarks or scaling quirks you've noticed!
