Hello all! What I’m specifically interested in is older occult material—grimoires, manuscripts, or early witchcraft/ceremonial magic texts, especially anything pre-1900 or early 20th century. I feel like writers from that era (and earlier) were much closer to older traditions, folk practices, and the original esoteric systems that later got filtered down or modernized. I’m not necessarily looking for “modern interpretations of old magic,” but anything that feels closer to source material rather than modern spiritual reworkings If anyone has suggestions for where to start building a reading list of older works—or even archives, publishers, or collections that specialize in this kind of material or places I should contact ro find them like should I be going to antique book sellers? This might be insanely vain but I’m very desperate I’ve never really done witch craft before only manifestation I come from a long line of people with “gifts” though. I desperately want physical beauty to be viewed as a 9 by other people like all the nice features small nose, nice eyes, nice body, facial harmony, good bone structure, etc. Are there anything spells or things similar that can help me achieve what I want.

I don't consider myself a skeptic, rather trying to think critically on my belief of magic. There are experiences that make magic self-evident, but I cannot help but remain critical on how coincidental the synchronicities are.

I've been reading books (closer to parapsychology, i.e. Dean Radin PhD.) but I noticed these authors seem to emit a confirmation bias in their analysis of their experiments; but that doesn't deviate me from the possibility of magic being a genuine phenomenon.

Rather I've kind of pushed myself away from entangling magic and science, despite them building upon each other. Magic seems more like a psychological mindset to me, with positive inclinations based on the statistical data I've read in these books; like a metaphorical approach rather than a logistical one.

The diction and terminology that Chaos Magic authors employ in their literature are personally hard to digest; especially that of Mat Auryn and Peter J. Carroll, although I would still recommend their foundational knowledge.

I'd like some advice from those who once experienced the same doubt as I do. The source of my resistance to magical thinking is primarily how rejected and easily a slippery slope into delusion can be achieved.

I did a love spell on someone not knowing he was avoidant. When I found out I did an avoidant healing spell and then redid a stronger love spell. Since he's started talking to someone else who's very toxic and draining. Would a third party removal spell still work if we never were a thing to begin with

So this is really tmi but a lot of witchcraft is- my chakras have been blocked since September and I think the main reason is because i haven't been able to cum on my own and release all my pent up negative energy (it's annoying. and it's actually more common than you may think pls don't bully me). But I fr don't masturbate at all anymore bc I know it won't leave me relieved. I work with a lot of dark feminine deities and I know sex magic is a thing and I can't help but feel like they want me to devote that side of me to them, but I want to be able to finish. I also don't meditate and I probably should. Any advice to open my chakras literally to be less stressed out would be extremely helpful.

I am deeply obsessed with a guy I can’t forget he doesn’t know me nor speaks to me I can’t approach him cause he’s not alone nor I am so I need a way to text him online first, which I will take consideration of. But after I need a love spell to make him in love with me only by having a picture of him in my phone (can’t print), and someone please teach me perhaps dm me to teach me what to write over it orrrr if there’s a way I can write something in a paper and practice it with simple materials thank you :)

I've been practicing witchcraft for several years, although I don't have as much experience as I'd like.

I'm going through a difficult time with my boyfriend. He did something very serious in our relationship. At first, he apologized, but then he called me to retract his apology, while at the same time begging me not to leave him.

I feel very angry, confused, and have many conflicting emotions. Part of me wants justice and to regain control, but I also know I don't want to do anything that will end up affecting me negatively.

That's why I'd like to ask for help with:

An effective domination spell, so he does everything I ask and is completely under my control. And a protection spell so the first spell doesn't negatively affect me.

I would greatly appreciate your advice and experiences from your magical practice.

Hi guyss i’d really appreciate some insight on a situation I’ve been working on and what direction I should take next.

Context:

My ex and I broke up in early march after he started pulling back once things became more emotionally vulnerable. At first, he mentioned wanting a break, but later clarified he’s not ready for a relationship. We still share the same social/trading circles, so we interact in group spaces, but there hasn’t been consistent 1 on 1 communication since the breakup.

Post breakup, there have been mixed signals. The last time he reached out directly over text was toward the end of March, and the last 1 on 1 interaction was in early April when he sent me something on TikTok. Around that same time, there were also some indirect/subtle signals from him.

Outside of that, most interaction has been in shared spaces light and surface level, but not cold. His friends still interact and joke with me normally as well.

More recently, though, there’s been a stronger shift in the opposite direction he’s removed me from personal platforms, while still remaining in shared group spaces.

Work I’ve done so far (in order):

• self-work / magnetism / glamour

• relationship road opening

• sweetening work (jar)

• communication work

Results I observed:

• after road opening: subtle indirect outreach/targeted behavior

• after sweetening: warmer, softer energy

• after communication: more interaction in shared spaces (still not 1on1)

After that, tho there’s been a stronger pullback (removing me from socials).

I haven’t been chasing or overly reactive I’ve stayed neutral in interactions and haven’t pushed for emotional conversations.

My question is: at this stage, would it be more effective to focus on healing-type work (for emotional resistance), attraction work, or something else? I’m trying to avoid overworking the situation or creating more resistance, so I’d really appreciate insight on timing and sequencing !!

sorry for the dump in advance but I really need help

I've been having this deep nagging feeling like something is going on that I am unable to see. This is the strongest I have felt something like this and it's hard to get a solid answer with my tarot deck.

I was interested in this guy and he checked off so many boxes for me and as soon as I met him I knew that our meeting was meant to happen. Every time we made plans something would happen (weather, other obligations, I even started feeling a cold coming on but quickly tried to get rid of it). Eventually, we were able to go out. I wasn't trying to make my interest too upfront because I didn't know him and wanted to respect his boundaries. The biggest indicator of the divine at work was for his ex to show up while we were together. No confrontation just passing by.

The energy soon switched after that. I felt as though there was an attraction from him initially but there were many mixed signals during that left me confused. I felt deeply frustrated and emotionally moved for no reason so I had to confront him and ask for clarification. It felt like his real self was revealed through that conversation.

It's been 4 days since that night and I feel like there is just something I'm not seeing. There's something really off and I've been racking my brain trying to figure it out. I am a devotee of Santa Muerte and before my meeting with him I had a bat show up at my window and stay there for a couple hours. I've been seeing 111 which I attribute to her. I am used to her tearing down things that don't work for me but something about all this is just odd. I'm just really curious too lol I need to know what all this could mean. I've just never experienced something nagging at me THIS hard

I’m a baby witch and have only recently started doing heavy research, most sources I’ve found say I should do a lot of research before doing my spells, but how much do I need to know/ how long before I can start?

Can someone please give me a tarot reading? Or honestly anything. I’m trying to get into witchcraft as well. Most people want readings about soulmates but I want to know my success and next move, whether that focuses on witchcraft or my life in general. I feel as though my intuition is pretty good | just lack the ability to do it.
