1/24 Drifter with Electronic?

Hey everyone, I’m currently looking for a 1:24 scale RC drift car to use indoors (mainly in my apartment), but I’m struggling to find something that’s actually decent quality. Most of what I come across looks like cheap toy-grade stuff (Amazon-type products), but I’m really looking for something a bit more “serious” or hobby-grade. Ideally: - 1:24 scale - Suitable for indoor drifting - Pre-built / RTR (ready-to-run) - Electronics already installed (motor, ESC, servo, gyro if possible) - Decent driving characteristics (not just powersliding) Does something like this even exist in this scale? Or is 1:24 still mostly DIY / kit territory? I’ve seen some higher-end chassis options, but they often require buying and installing all electronics separately, which I’d prefer to avoid if possible. Would really appreciate any recommendations or insights—especially from people actually drifting indoors at this scale. Thanks!

Front wheels question

Hey guys. I'd like to ask RC model owners about your caster, camber, toe, and Ackerman angle. What do you think of the model in the video? I don't have any tools for measuring camber except a protractor. It's a Sakura D5 clone, but I tried it anyway and I like it. I just can't keep it in a corner; it constantly skids or spins. The weight ratio is 30/70, favoring the rear. Any suggestions?

I designed this S15 widebody for the Fujimi S15. I’m planning to try producing it as a PC (polycarbonate) body shell in the near future.#fujimi #s15 #jdm #arkedge #nissan #drift #widebody

Rebuilding an AWD Yokomo DIB. Front right wheel is super noisy. Bad bearing?

Hey everyone, I bought this RC back in 2023. I took a gamble because someone was selling a Yokomo DIB kit for dirt cheap. Turns out it was in pretty rough shape—totally beat up with a lot of missing screws.

It ended up sitting on the shelf from 2024 to 2025 because I moved to a new city and got a new job. Now in 2026, armed with some "adult money", I’m finally rebuilding it. Right now, I'm just going through the chassis and replacing all the missing hardware.

I just noticed that the front right wheel makes a pretty loud noise when spun by hand (see video). At first, I thought the inner rim was rubbing against something, so I swapped to a +6 offset rim, but the loud clicking/rattling is still there. The left side is completely silent.

What should I be checking here? Is this most likely a blown bearing, or maybe something with the CVD? Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm going to keep the AWD system on this chassis because I plan on running a Mitsubishi Lancer evo body on it.

Micro Drifter ?

I’m looking for a proper RC drift car for indoor use (living room), something smaller than 1:10 (ideally 1:24–1:28) — but not cheap toy-grade stuff.

My background is in fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, so I’m not new to RC in general, but I don’t have much experience specifically with drift cars yet.

What I’m looking for:

- RWD (for proper drift behavior)

- Gyro (for stable countersteering)

- preferably hobby-grade / upgradeable

- RTR is fine, but I’m totally okay with kit or ARTR if that’s where the good stuff is

Budget isn’t the main concern — I’m more interested in what actually works well at this scale, not something that just does powerslides.

Are there any solid platforms or builds you’d recommend in this size range?

Converting to RWD My Old MST FS-01D

Hello everyone, I decided to convert my old MST FS-01D vehicle to a RWD template. I made some modifications with a 3D printer, and move motor to rear Side. But I'm not sure if this steering angle is Suits For rwd. I'm also open to other suggestions on this topic.

Galm sliderack help (s15 Pfa)

Yo! I can not for the life of me figure this out.

Just built an Od galm v2, everything works and drives fine, EXCEPT steering. No matter which way i turn, it does not self center, its always off. If i turn left, and let go off the transmitter, My front wheels are slightly turned left. I turn right; same thing. slightly turned to the right.

Ive redone endpoints via gyro, controller. Ive completely removed servo and the slide rack moved 100% free like butter. Im not hitting anything, no binding. hell. even threw new ball cups on upper and lower arms, and tie rods. even tried new cups on the servo horn.

Thought it was my rsst pro so i threw my sp03 from my shark (proven works. multiple track days on it) and same thing. Doesnt completely return to center.

any tips? tricks? ideas?

Body I’m working on today

Painted a Pandora Jzx100 today for my Travis 2. It’s a deep burgundy color with our local club livery. I heavily debated upon not putting the livery on it because the color came out so good. Lighting makes a big difference in how the color shows.
