I want to get into this series and I'm worried about some of these mfs. Are they just a weird minority or a good majority of the Precure community.

Staying strong after You and Idol's remarkable opening! I do believe (and correct me if I'm wrong) this excludes the Tear Arcana Rod sales, just the initial product sales.

Would Homura from Madoka Magica be dangerous opponent in Precure universe? Or she would be overpowered by precures?

Of course not all of those screenshots do feature a cameo, I just kept them to increase the difficulty a little bit.

The camera man calls this a rare butterfly, but it turns out it's just a common swallowtail you could find almost anywhere. Someone should tell him!

It's been about a month since we were introduced to her properly in the show. Everyone knows that she has been having quite the popularity lately, but now that we have had enough time to think about her, an ongoing question is if she has really transcended Precure to bring people into the series, or perhaps, it has all been overblown.

I've had conflicting things that she has broken into the larger anime zeitgeist. I've heard she has and she is giving more push to Precure in the west, and I've also heard she hasn't and it's that her popularity is primarily a Precure fandom thing, or that she is barely known to western anime fans. Well, what exactly is it?

Of course there are many many more, those are just a handful of screenshots that I had already lurking around on my PC anyways

Shared Motifs
Eriza (author) and Kurea (patissier) share the buttefly (ps not circled but butterflies are also on eclair's shoes), while Rei (student council) and Shiruku (actor) share the star motif (shiruku's star is a different colour though).

Shared Hairstyles
Eclair's curls in her ponytail are similar to Eriza, Rei shares hair whisps on the fringe, Shiruku has the hair loops, and Kurea (as well as Eriza and Rei)have loose hair from the sides of the face (not circled in the image for Eriza)

Shared Colours
Shiruku has the closest colours to Eclair as both of their primary colour is light blue.
Rei's dark turquoise hair could transform into blue, plus the green fade at the bottom.
Kurea also has dark blue hair that fits Eclair's colours.
Eriza has a green dress which matches with the fade at the end of Eclair's ponytail.
There's also purple/pinkish colours from Rei and Kurea which can be seen on the underside of Eclair's overskirt.

All four of these characters are listed side by side on the official toei website in the extra character section (top row as well).

Personal Theory
I saw someone say that these characters are all Cure Eclair at the same time, which I initially just passed off as a crack theory. But I thought about it. With the Space Time fairy and the whole time-travel shenanigan, something like this isn't out of the question at all, perhaps there are multiple manifestations of Cure Eclair. It would also make sense to keep Cure Eclair's identity a secret and create so many potential candidates for her if they went this route. It could be passed off as intentional red herrings, but all of them seem to share similar amounts of design similarities.

But if it is only one person, I hope its Rei she's my favourite :)

WAIT. THE MAKOTO JEWEL SHATTERED. ECLAIR SHATTERED AS WELL. OH MY GOD THEY REALLY ALL ARE ECLAIR. THEY ALL HOLD A PIECE OF ECLAIR. THATS WHY WE HAVENT SEEN ECLAIR, SHES SPLIT APART INTO 4 PIECES. (this has the potential to be the craziest transformation sequence ever.)

My PreCure knowledge is somewhat limited. I know mid-season Cures aren't revealed until later on and Cure Eclair was revealed along the rest of the Cures. However, normally "the main cures" appear all-together on the openings and endings but in this season we only see Cure Answer, Mystique and Arcana Shadow.

I've never seen this happen on any of the OPs/EDs I've watched from seasons with a mid-season cure >!(Fresh, Heartcatch, Mahou Tsukai, Kira Kira, Star Twinkle, Delicious Party) !<
Idk If this happened before but it's definitely strange to me. Maybe we'll have 2 mid-season Cures considering this season will probably have 51 episodes? I also find it a little strange that she's taking so long to appear on the actual series

Pochitan will also try to deliver a letter to Anna and Mikuru from the London Office of the Cure It Detective Agency. But that’s interrupted by our villain Nijee this week.
