How common are these guys in the Precure community?
I want to get into this series and I'm worried about some of these mfs. Are they just a weird minority or a good majority of the Precure community.
When and why did we start associating the Vaguepost Emperor with Cure Arcana Shadow?
Blue Archive fans, everyone!
I'ma pull a stylish DMC combo on their asses fr fr
Other musical genres that been touched on in a shmup?
I want to know if these musical genres have been touched in by a shmup yet.
Genres that I know have been included in shmups:
• Glam rock: Lords of Thunder
• Metal: MUSHA, Lords of Thunder, Ketsuipachi, Devil Engine, Danmaku Unlimited 3
• Jazz: R-Type LEO, Devil Engine, Darius Gaiden
• Djent: The Danmaku Unlimited series
• Crust punk: Crust Shmup
• Disco/Funk: Dangun Feveron
• Trance: Espagaluda
Genres that I'm not sure if they've been included in a shmup (yet):
• Hip-hop
• Soul
• RnB
• EDM
• Grunge
• Eurobeat
• Big band
• Speed Garage
Let me know if there's a shmup that's covered one of these genres in the comments!
If Nikke wasn't literally hot lady heaven, it would've been hit with the woke allegations real fast (mostly because of the heavy feminist and anti-corporation messaging)
DISCLAIMER: This is not a diss on the shmup genre. I just wanna know what makes players want to keep playing a shmup despite the hard difficulty. Please don't jump to conclusions.
So I've heard this statement about how the reason why people felt the need to keep playing arcade games despite their harsh difficulty is because the games needed to be fun and well-made to make you want to insert that next quarter. But that raises a question: what makes arcade games (in this case, shmups) fun beyond just the experience of overcoming the obstacles in front of you and planning out ways to get past the challenges? What if the game is extremely hard, but it's not enjoyable enough to make you want to keep playing?
Feel free to fact-check my reasoning, I'd appreciate it!
I'm thinking of making a fighting game (it's an anime-inspired airdasher fighting game that's an homage to games like Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Melty Blood, and Arcana Heart called anim[É]), and I wanna make my protagonist a weirdo fighting game character. (because I'm not that derivative) What can I learn from weirdo fighting game characters to make my protagonist as weird as he can be?
Forgot to take a picture of my victory screen against Goblu (took me a few tries), but I finally did it! And on Expert too!
