Need Mags Reco for Innova (Newbie mistake: accidentally bought fake Rays)

Hi everyone! Seeking some help and recommendations for our Toyota Innova (Gray).

The Backstory:
Unfortunately, my mom and I bought "Thai copy" Rays wheels recently. It was an honest mistake—we didn't do enough research and we are both very inexperienced when it comes to the aftermarket scene. Since our stock 16s were already damaged, we rushed into buying these without realizing the safety risks of replicas for a heavy MPV.

Now we want to do it right and get a reliable, legitimate set of mags that won’t give us peace-of-mind issues on the road.

Specs & Preferences:
Current Tires: Sailun Atrezzo 225/55R17 (We’ll be keeping these).
Vehicle Color: Gray.
Look: Looking for something with a "low profile" or clean aesthetic that complements the gray paint.
Budget: Mid-range (Looking for "Bang for buck" but 100% authentic/durable).

Looking for:

  1. Brand Recommendations: Which brands are known for being "Innova-tough" but still look stylish? (Thinking Rota, Konig, Advanti, etc.?)
  2. Shop Recommendations: Where are the most trusted/legit sellers (preferably around Metro Manila or Laguna area)?
  3. Style Advice: Which colors go best with a gray Innova? Bronze? Gunmetal? Matte Black?

Hoping to learn from your expertise so we don't make the same mistake twice. Thank you!

Fuel Smart - Live Fuel Price Tracking App

For all the drivers that are trying to save some gas money. 🙇‍♂️

Started as passion project, not really a mobile developer but ended creating one. Project started 4th week of January giving 30mins - 1 hour a day progress. Learned everything from scratch and forced to expedite the project because of the ongoing fuel crisis.

This is now what it looks like 1 month after going live.

It has massive support in some areas of the Philippines and is sustainable but it is struggling to retain users on areas that has no data yet 😞

Features ⛽:

✅ Crowdsourced prices

➡️Usually requires 2-3 exact same reports to be verified but for now in the early stage, disabled muna.

➡️Distance constraints: User can only update a fuel station's price when it is near to that area by approximately 3km. Some users take pictures and update the prices later when on when they are on full stop driving.

➡️Price guard, only accepts values near the current market price average per fuel type Price photo capture, works only on mobile app using ML kit as tesseract.js for browser seems insufficient.

✅ Dynamic station indicators

➡️Green: Prices were updated on the current week's fuel price adjustments

➡️Red: Prices were not updated after the week's price adjustments

➡️Gray: Stale, no fuel price info yet. No DOE prices as this creates user expectation when in reality, the actual fuel price is not close to the DOE's. P.S. Fuel stations can set their own fuel prices higher or lower than DOE's.

✅10 cheap fuel list

➡️Displays the top 10 cheapest fuel based on the filters of fuel type, distance, brand, and max price.

✅Route Planning

➡️Set a route and the app will display only stations near to that.

➡️Filters and sets the prices along your route in the "Cheap fuel list" Purple markers: Means that it is the cheapest fuel along your route.

✅Leaderboards

✅Fuel Expense Tracker

✅Vehicle Registration Board

✅And many more features to go around.

Planning on getting the Sealion 5 DM-i

Just need some insights as a first time buyer. As the title suggests, planning on getting the Sealion 5 DM-i for our all around daily/family car. I am planning on using the company benefit of my sibling as a downpayment (around 800k) and the rest as a car loan, which I will be the one applying for.

Just wondering if this is okay sa banks and if they need to see muna the cheque for the benefit before approving the loan.

Income: 50k/month (average) with around 25k monthly expenses

Reco for First Car

Hello everyone! I am planning to get my first car this year. Baka may ma- recommend kayong unit for first timer. Yung nasa mind ko is Suzuki Hatchback or Sedan and Toyota Raize. May mas budget friendly pa kaya? Although for bank financing naman sana ako if brand new. Pero kung may mai- suggest din kayo na 2nd hand, I might consider it. Thank you so much. ^_^

Pang pre-wash and contact wash lang sana.

2026 Chevy Spark EUV - First Month Review

This is my perspective as a
First time EV owner/driver
Third Car
Coming from Diesel + Manual Tranny

Unit is 2026 Chevrolet Spark EUV
- Quick Specs: 75kw Electric Motor, 41.9kwh LFP battery, FWD, 50kw dc fast charging, 6.6kw AC Charging, 360km range

Actual Experience:

- Mahal mag charge sa labas - ₱35/ kwh (EVRO App);
- If mag ccharge sa labas, I always go with a DC charger para fast charging.
- 20% to 100% is just 38-42 mins. Usually noon time ako nakakacharge kasi; i don’t know if may effect na gabi mag charge (low temp);
20% to 100% took me 14 hours!
- Advertise range is not true rated; Actual Range ko is nasa 250kms lang with 20% remaining.
- Actual Range included nung idle times;
- Instant torque talaga.
- This is not Telsa level unit esp software; tho i like ng ADAS, Adaptive Cruise Control and Intellibeam Lightning;
- Regenerative braking is legit! :) Tagaytay to Calax Sta Rosa, walang bawas sa battery plus dagdag 5km range pa.
Night driving is comfortable - may glasses pa ako nyan. Di na need magpa retrofit ba
ng headlight
- IMO Much better alternative to: VF3 and Seagull;
- Good looking and head turner sa daan.
- ORCR qnd Plate arrived 2 weeks from date of purchase.

Things to consider:
- If naka solar setup ka at may extra harvest, best value ang EV.
- If you go with Chevy Spark EUV, wala kasamang wall charger upon purchase. But its for the best kasi compatible to sa lahat na brand as long as type 2 port.
- If long drive, go sa DC Fast Charging lagi. Saves waiting time. Go get ACMobility Credits - no expiry naman yun.

It happened kahapon po and I even sent too many emails sa different gmails ng LTO but hindi po sila nagrereply.

Hi everyone! Need your insights please 😅 I’m finally planning to buy my own car. Can’t afford a brand new one yet, so I’m considering second-hand for now. Both cars are family-owned and well-maintained.

Here are my options:
Ford Everest Titanium 2017 | 4x2 | 2.2L
— 97,000 km mileage
— Casa maintained
— No issues

Toyota Fortuner TRD 2017
— 195,000 km mileage
— Casa maintained
— No issues

Which one do you think is better in terms of reliability, maintenance, comfort, and overall value? Hehe. Thank you! 🙏

HELP! Crv not turning on

Hi! I just got my 2018 crv maintained by the casa last week, but now i am stranded in a parking lot waiting for a jump. Electronics work but every time i try to start the car it freaks out and the engine does not start. Checked online and it says i need a jump because my battery is drained

The car is displaying a few erros one of which being emergency brake problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Will a jump solve my issues or am i stuck here for the rest of the evening 🥲

Need help deciding: RAV4 ADV, Corolla Cross GR-S, BYD Sealion 6, or Civic HEV?

Need opinions lang sana kung ano pinaka okay piliin between:

- Toyota RAV4 ADV
- Toyota Corolla Cross GR-S
- BYD Sealion 6 DM-i
- Honda Civic HEV

This will mostly be our secondary car since may Hilux naman kami for long drives and heavy use. Mostly ang magiging use of this car will be work-to-home driving lang around Quezon City then occasional long drives minsan.

Medyo interested ako sa Sealion 6 because of the tech and bang for buck talaga for the price and its features pero parang feeling ko hindi ko mamamaximize yung pagiging PHEV niya since naka-condo kami and hindi ako makakapag charge on my own. Most likely magiging dependent pa rin ako sa public charging stations whether free or paid. Though naiisip ko rin baka in the future mas maging accessible na sila especially around Metro Manila.

For the RAV4, Corolla Cross, and Civic HEV naman, gusto ko yung regenerative charging and mas simple ownership compared sa PHEV setup. Pero iniisip ko lang, since RAV4 has a 2.5 engine, Corolla Cross has 1.8, and Civic has 2.0, hindi ba sila magiging matakaw pa rin sa gas especially sa city driving?

Priority ko sana:
- fuel efficiency
- comfort
- reliability
- tech

Any real-world owner feedback would really help especially from Metro Manila/QC users. Thanks!

Reason kung bakit sya yung primary is because when we applied for a loan, kakalipat ko lang sa bago kong company back then, 4 months pa lang ako while sya years na so mas strong ang employment background niya.

I was the one who decided to get the car so ako nagbayad ng dp, ako rin nagbabayad ng monthly. Thing is, maghihiwalay na kami. I want to keep the car kasi mas need namin ng mga anak ko while sya magrerent na lang naman ng apartment at wfh.

I am ok with keeping the car and continuing monthly payments pero ayokong malugi na pag natapos kong bayaran, sa kanya lang mapupunta technically kasi sya yung primary. I want to secure myself sana as early as now, so would pasalo agreement and SPA save me? Para may written agreement and proof na ako yung nagbabayad and by the end of the term may panghahawakan ako na ittransfer yung ownership under my name or pwedeng ako na mag-asikaso lahat since may SPA naman? Willing naman sya pero I want documented proofs.

Any advice po? Thank you!
